We had lunch after going to the Spa and it was a wonderful experience. Stephanie our waitress was amazing, and the food was really good. We had lunch outdoors and it was a beautiful experience. We will definitely go back.

Patio is based upon availability. Simple, Rustic, yet Refined, anything but typical. Walk into Dolce and you're welcomed by the aromas from the open kitchen. You might notice the music, its contemporary, it's rock & roll, R&B, or soul. You'll definitely notice the wines, displayed on the wall like works of art. There are no white table cloths, no dabbing the corners of your mouth, no pomp, but lots of circumstance. And perhaps the only reason you noticed the aforementioned is because you haven't tasted our food. That's when the music fades into the background.
Our house chefs are proud to be 'dismantling' the dining experience, replacing it with a sophisticated yet relaxed evening that doesn't break the bank. It's the best of both worlds, yet the food is our finest accomplishment to date. Inspired by whats great with a deep appreciation for each ingredient; grown local sustainable farms, or produced and harvested by like-minded individuals. Dolce is rarely the same place twice.

The cuisine emphasizes hearty meat, pasta and seasonal dishes utilizing meats, poultry and produce farmed locally or from across the country from farms practicing sustainable farming methods and celebrates the joys of artisanal cooking. Even the takeout containers are compostable and made from sugarcane rather than petroleum based plastics.

Glen Prairie’s menu is designed to emphasize seasonal ingredients to showcase a variety of American flavors. The restaurant team shops local farmers' markets several times a week to source fresh ingredients.

We were looking for a restaurant equidistant from Geneva/Lake Forest. The reviews were good so we booked for a Saturday night. Very quiet (maybe due to Labor Day Weekend), the service was outstanding, food was solid (caramelized flatbread was amazing). Prices were extremely reasonable including mixed drinks.

This was a delicious dinner. My complaint is the 30.00 corkage fee. I feel this is excessive. Also the portions are rather skimpy for the price. If you are paying almost $50 for an entree shouldn’t you get a potato or something with it?

The arctic char and lobster pasta were excellent! The old fashioned was one of the best I ever had. They brought us a complimentary sparkling wine for our anniversary which was nice. The ambiance is just OK — it looks like they remodeled a breakfast or similar more casual restaurants, but could have done more. Would go there again.

A meal at Adelle’s has always been a pleasure and that has not changed since their update. Food, service and ambiance are all first rate. The patio is particularly enjoyable at this time of year.
