Das Restaurant t „Zum Sailer” – früher die Gastwirtschaft „zum Adler” genannt, ist die wohl älteste Gastwirtschaft in Marktoberdorf und existierte schon vor 1453. Zum ersten Mal wurde der Gasthof „zum Adler” bei der Grenzbeschreibung 1544 erwähnt.
Im Jahr 2015 wurde das Restaurant „Zum Sailer” komplett umgebaut und neu renoviert. Seit der Eröffnung im Dezember, begrüßt Gastgeber & Koch Johannes Hirtl seine Gäste in 4 Restaurantbereichen und mit österreichischer Küche.

Wie es heißt, einer der besten "Italiener" Münchens - auch wenn er sich weder in München noch in Italien befindet, sondern direkt in Eriks Hotel in Fürholzen. Und mit "Italiener" ist auch nicht Pizza- und Pasta- Klischee gemeint, sondern richtig gute leichte mediterrane Küche mit Pesce, Carne e Verdure vom Feinsten!

Bayerische Küche - Jung und mit Niveau. Unsere Rohprodukte beziehen wir aus der Region und erzielen dadurch die besten Ergebnisse auf dem Teller. Die Saison bestimmt unsere Speisekarte. Unsere Spezialität? Definitiv der Oxe! Mal als Carpaccio, mal dry-aged (bei uns im Haus am Knochen mindestens 28 Tage trocken gereift).

Great restaurant! Be sure to start with a cocktail at Maxi’s right next door. Entrees are creative with fresh ingredients. A short walk from the Marriott Friesing.

From the moment we set foot in the door we were welcomed. When they realized we spoke English, there was an immediate language shift. Our server Michaela (spelling?) was attentive and engaging. We started with a shared pizza and drinks and she allowed time “to rest” before bringing our pasta dishes. The carbonara was perfect with a hint of saltiness and as I was saying I could taste the carrot in the bolognese (like my nonna made it!) my husband found a piece of carrot. This is our 4th pizza in the area and BY FAR it was the best!

Excellent, friendly and competent service, even though the Brauhaus was packed ahead of Christmas. Good and tasty food, generous portions. Traditional beer house atmosphere. Recommended.
