Leidenschaftliches Kochen und gemeinsames Genießen sind für mich die schönsten Erinnerungen an meine Familie. In einer Gärtner- und Försterfamilie aufgewachsen, waren die guten Gaben der Natur besonders nah.

Wald und Feld lieferten herrlichste Zutaten, die Großmutter, Urgroßmutter, Mutter und Tanten mit Leidenschaft in kleine duftende Wunderwerke verwandelten.

In meinem kleinen Restaurant möchte ich all diese Erinnerungen an meine Heimat mit Ihnen teilen und sie mit den traditionellen Gerichten meiner Kindheit verwöhnen. Die Rezepturen meiner Familie und der Region möchte ich bewahren, aber auch durch modernes zeitgemäßes Ernährungswissen verbessern. Die allerbesten Zutaten finde ich in kleinen befreundeten Erzeugerbetrieben aus Rheinhessen und der Pfalz.

Excellent food and service in a comfortable, unpretentious setting. My Schweinebraten was so tender it almost needed a spoon. Even the accompanying carrots were cooked perfectly. My husband’s Rinderroulade was delicious also. We speak only a little German but the staff kindly used English with us. Wonderful meal to end our month of travel in Germany!

Chef Ramon always comes up with creative ways to keep your palate tantalised. Our third time visiting and we will be back to see what the new season brings. We also must highlight the energy and service level that Kiki brings :)

This was an excellent experience for the family on Christmas Day. The host Slim was very cordial and spoke English to us. The food was probably the best we’ve had in over a year. Wonderful pairings, meat that almost melted in our mouths it was so tender. I would definitely come back.
