This is the second time at Rechabite and the second time we have had the set menu. This time we had the wagyu steak chefs special menu and it didn't dissapoint. The food was awesome and perfect amount. We were full by the time the dessert came round. The desert was outstanding and the wagyu steak was melt in your mouth tenderness. We will be back but may try options off the menu rather than the set menu, just for something different. 😊

Within a beautiful Subiaco heritage building, a new neighbourhood wine bar has entered the scene on Hay Street. In the 1920s, the building was home to a provisions merchant owned by husband and wife Emily and Charles Lums. Their shop, EA Lums & Co, was a place for locals to grab quality ingredients from a family-owned shop.

With the appointment of Nick Young as Head Chef, Lums offers a brand new, vino-friendly food offering.

Nick’s resume boasts a wonderful mix of fine dining and funky neighbourhood eateries including Wildflower, Must, Bivouac and Lallah Rookh. Beautiful food and great staff. Tuna sashimi and miso glazed cod were delightful, with refreshing draught Asahi from the tap. Will be going back for more.

The Mahogany Inn Sunday experience is so great! My daughter and I went for lunch last Sunday. We were drawn to the patio because the music was so good. We thought it was a band as we walked down the driveway, but it was a dj with an amazing sound system, and he played the absolute best music. So many old rock n roll songs from the 60's & 70's. Not heavy, just perfectly rocking. The salt and pepper calamari were excellent and the chips were crispylicious! The scallops were fresh and yummy, although the strawberries on top didn't do it for my daughter, who is a chef. All in all, it was the most pleasant afternoon and the staff were friendly and efficient. We became members because we are definitely going back.

Great location. Good food, Consistently good quality and service. Fairly priced. Parking at Optus Stadium could be a problem - bear that in mind when booking.

Absoloutely fantastic experience, there were 15 of us there for lunch and not one person complained, in fact complete opposite where they all sang their praises. WELL DONE MASONMILL WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK.

Beautiful restaurant, staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was soo nice, we had the steak sharing board with a few sides. We loved it, we will definitely come back again.

Great location. Good atmosphere. The food was good (the Shared Platter). Only issue is having to wait in very long lines for a glass of wine. Possibly should be table service for those people who only want a glass of wine from the menu and are not interested in chatting to the servers about the different kinds of beer on offer.
