We went for lunch. Restaurant was moderately loud, still able to converse over the volume. Food was okay. Sweet potato fries were cold on arrival - should have sent them back to the kitchen but we didn't. Waitress gave us complimentary appetizer for our next visit to compensate, Wait staff was very good and attentive.

The food was excellent as it was fresh and not out of a box. A rewarding experience for pub food, and Halifax, others should take note. Service was great considering the crowd that was there and the time of day and keeping up with the events that were going on downtown that evening. Kudos to the team
