We had the 6 course tasting menu paired with an exquisite red wine recommended by the sommelier. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Everything was creatively prepared and served at a relaxed but attentive pace. It was a lovely evening from start to finish.

Appetizers were great Food was very good Service was really good at the start but as the place got busy, the service got a little worse Our waitress, who was very nice didn’t come to ask about our meals until we were almost done. The dessert, a coffee gelato, chocolate, crumble, apricote thing had way way way too much going on Food value was great, drinks and wine are a bit over priced Overall through….it was a nice evening and I’d recommend trying it

Really enjoyed our dinner at Lot Six. Very good cocktails. Nice wine and beer with meal. Food was good but nothing special. One of our servers was a young gentleman originally from Newfoundland who was extremely kind, helpful and informative. If you’re looking for a 5 star meal this isn’t the place. If you’re looking for a good meal in a relaxed atmosphere you would be hard pressed to find a better spot. We enjoyed our evening and would return again.

Food and drinks were both of a high quality and the service was great as well. We have walked by Orso countless times on our visits to Halifax and never gone inside since it usually looks so desolate, unless there is an event at the arena across the street and the seats outside and inside, along the windows are occupied. Once inside, we realized that there is a large dining room that is not visible from the road and it was actually quite busy that night. We're glad we finally tried Orso after all of these years and we will be back on future visits.
