A wonderful way to celebrate a spritely 90 year olds birthday. The team made her feel so special & placed us in the best table, on the deck on a glorious sunny sydney afternoon. Attentive, with subtle special attention without being over bearing. The menu & food was exquisite, beautiful flavours with immaculate presentation. We have been a few times before and will be back again- many thanks for making this celebration special (TBF, the weather & view helped!) Highly recommend!

Double Bay
About the restaurant
Margaret is a neighbourhood restaurant at its core, but it’s also evolved into something more than that. It’s about comfort, generosity, and cosiness.
At Margaret, we work with the best quality produce that Australia has to offer. Chef Neil Perry AM has spent years developing relationships with some of the best suppliers in the country. We are predominantly a seafood restaurant and are very fortunate to receive our seafood direct from our fishermen, caught sustainably and dry filleted here onsite at Margaret, so we can ensure that all that love and care our wonderful fisherman have taken is seen all the way through. The menu at Margaret is diverse and inspired by all the flavours that Neil has been collecting over his 45+ years in the industry. Margaret

Managed to get a rez on Easter Weekend at the last minute. We had the tasting menu, along with the wine flight. It was all paired perfectly, and there were dishes my husband wouldn't normally eat, and he thought were outstanding.

About the restaurant
Every Bill Granger’s restaurant reflects the spirit we like to think of as ‘Australian’: sunny, easy-going and generous.

Bill opened his first restaurant in Sydney’s Darlinghurst in 1993. It soon became loved for its legendary breakfasts, served at the famous central communal table, where locals and travellers, families and friends, continue to be welcomed. About the restaurant
Teddy offers a fresh and approachable take on the modern Aussie bistro, filled with familiar favourites seen through fresh eyes. The menu is curated by widely acclaimed Chef Ben Sears (Melbourne), and the kitchen is overseen by Head Chef Nicole Coelho who brings her culinary flair to strike the right balance between old and new school favs.

Teddy is the perfect space for all season and all reasons. Gather the crew for the next big event or just drop in for a weeknight-wine on the way home from the daily grind.

Double Daily Happy Hour is from 4pm-6pm Wednesday to Sunday (and it's well worth sneaking out of work early for!)

The Teddy courtyard offers a killer private event space and is the perfect area to book out for you up to 25 of your favourite people.

Pour yourself into a bar stool, order some freshly shucked Sydney rocks with a glass of Aussie bubbles, tap your feet along with the back2back 80s bangers and settle in for some of the best people watching in the hood.

Outstanding staff who were quick to assist right from the start as we entered the Club. Very friendly. Food is always delicious and we didn’t wait long at all considering it was a busy day being game day. They could however use more bar staff as the queues were long, otherwise, overall we had a great time. Atmosphere is top notch 👍
