Dawes Point / Walsh Bay
About the restaurant
Jounieh is a contemporary approach to the Middle Eastern culinary tradition.
Perfectly positioned on the Walsh Bay harbour foreshore, this waterside venue takes you on a journey through the distinctive flavours and tastes of its famed namesake – the coastal town of Jounieh in Lebanon.

From the pickles and spices of the bustling ‘Souk’, the grandeur of its luxurious oceanfront resorts, bustling nightlife and numerous promenade eateries, Jounieh is an all-encompassing slice of Lebanese culture.

So grab another round of dips and pile up the pita; time moves slowly when you’re eating this well.

Great decor, beautiful lights & view, food was well flavoured. Great service. Would recommend going at sunset. Sunday night they also have live jazz which really levelled it up more.

Barangaroo
About the restaurant
At the edge of the CBD, in the spectacular 22-hectare waterfront precinct where an old container terminal once stood, discerning foodies can now find some of the city’s best sushi in Barangaroo. Established in 2016, the newest addition to the Zushi restaurant empire is in Sydney’s impressive new harbour foreshore playground. Zushi Barangaroo is both stylish and comfortable, capturing the relaxed style of a typical Japanese bar or izakaya designed by the renowned architect Koichi Takada. We offer premium service complimented with a wide selection of imported beers, Japanese inspired cocktails, and Japanese sake and whisky.
Zushi prides itself on using only carefully sourced local ingredients; the freshest vegetables and sustainable seafood where possible and most of the menu is gluten-free. We are open every day for lunch and dinner, serving delectable sushi, sashimi and share plates. And the glorious harbour views are pretty tasty too.

We were a large group of 10 and the dishes were all served hot and quickly. The food was delicious and some of the best Cantonese we’ve ever eaten. The soft shell crab was the standout dish. Highly recommend.

Staff were excellent and the food and wine were delicious, however, we thought the vegetables with the roast could have had a little more thought put into them. It was a little noisy but we were sitting in the front bar during a League match so it was to be expected. Overall an enjoyable experience and we will be back

My family and I had a wonderful experience at Love Fish on Saturday celebrating my Mum's Birthday, with everyone thoroughly enjoying their meal. There are many delicious choices on the menu, and I am happy to say the chefs are able, and more importantly willing, to cater to different dietary needs, including my gluten intolerance, and my sisters gluten and dairy free needs, all without compromising on taste, substance or flavour. We made a late booking and did have to wait a while before we ordered our food, but we could see how hard the staff were working, all the while they managed to maintain a happy and friendly approach, very obliging with nothing being a problem. It was our pleasure to dine at Love Fish Barangaroo, and we will definitely be back to enjoy more of the freshest and sustainable seafood in Sydney.

Concord
About the restaurant
A Croatian-inspired Community Club brings good times back to Concord. The Croatian Club in Sydney has been a vibrant community club for Australian Croatian Families since 1951. Originally founded in Surry Hills then moved to Marrickville in 1972 and in 1983 relocated to the old Sundowner at Punchbowl. The Club has now secured premises in Concord – the former RSL Club with a rich history and local community of its own. The new Concord Community Club, or simply “The Concord” is the latest incarnation in the geographic heart of Sydney close to the shores of the Parramatta River.
