Ate here on Wednesday at 19.00 with my Wife and Daughter. We were promptly seated outside which was lovely as the evening was so warm. The food was nicely prepared and presented, as was the wine and waters. All of a sudden when our dinner was finished a strong wind and electric storm erupted and we had to move inside. The staff and charming owner sat us at a table with a drink while they called us a taxi home. I thoroughly recommend Vino e Gusto and will definitely return during our next visit to Munich.

Das Restaurant Deutsche Eiche in der Reichenbachstr. 13 ist seit 150 Jahren ein Kultlokal und Zentrum des trendigen Gärtnerplatzviertels. Die Speisekarte weist moderne internationale Variationen, vegetarische Gerichte aber auch Münchner Originale und landestypische Klassiker wie Schnitzel, Schweinebraten und Kaiserschmarrn auf. Bei schönem Wetter empfehlen wir besonders die Plätze an oder unter den Fenstern, wo man den lebhaften Trubel des Viertels beobachten kann. In wenigen Gehminuten gelangt man zum Marienplatz, dem Viktualienmarkt, dem Isarufer oder dem Gärtnerplatztheater. Die Tramhaltestelle Reichenbachplatz liegt nur wenige Meter von der Deutschen Eiche entfernt. Vor oder nach dem Essen ist ein Besuch auf der Terrasse ein unvergessliches Erlebnis und bietet ein einzigartiges Panorama über die Alpen und die Münchner Altstadt (Keine Reservierungen auf der Dachterrasse - First-come-first-served).

This is very characteristic restaurant with good German plates. It is always a pleasure reach it and enjoy the meat they deserves Be careful with ports ions that are very generous, better choose one in 2 and after decide for something form the menu ❤️
