"Vinaiolo" heißt übersetzt "Weinhändler". In den bis zur Decke reichenden Vitrinen reiht sich folgerichtig Flasche an Flasche. Neben den großen der Branche finden sich auch viele ausgesuchte Jahrgänge kleiner Winzer. Aber nicht nur Weinliebhaber kommen im Vinaiolo auf ihre Kosten. Der Zusatz Osteria con cucina steht für eine außergewöhnliche mediterrane Küche mit regionalen, weniger bekannten Gerichten aus Venezien, Friaul und der Kampagne.

Die lebhafte Atmosphäre und das authentische Ambiente mit einem alten Kaufmannsladen aus dem Jahre 1904 aus Triest lassen völlig vergessen, dass man gerade im Münchner Herbergsviertel "Haidhausen" ist.

The dinner was some of the best food I have ever had. We ordered the Steak Frites. The steak was delicious and tender; the potatoes were topped with truffle; the salad was dressed with a citrus-flavored dressing. The salmon starter was also wonderful and dressed with a spicy Yuzu sauce. The restaurant is lovely and decorated with beautiful lamps. Our waiter was kind, but the service could have been more attentive. Nevertheless, I can highly recommend the restaurant!
