Sushi seems to be available on every corner these days - but only Japanese chefs know exactly how to prepare the rice and bring the taste to full bloom.

Yet really well-made sushi & sashimi is only a very small part of Japanese “washoku” cuisine. The best way to experience the seasonality of Japanese cuisine is with our “Journey to Japan” menu: several small courses, all of which change seasonally (!). Since 2007, we have been delighting our guests with our attention to detail and the pleasure of your visit.

If you are using the international / english interface of opentable, for reservation of two persons please be extra careful about making a reservation on TATAMI (japanese rice straw mats where you take off your shoes) or not, since OpenTable doesnt seem to translate those two different seating options.

Outstanding restaurant, the best lasagna I have ever had which includes places throughout Italy! Staff was amazing and the music and atmosphere were fantastic!!

Chef David made the most delicious food. The octopus carpaccio and tomato carpaccio were absolutely delicious. The truffle pizza was otherworldly as was the steak salad. Vivi was a wonderful waitress attentive to our needs kind, helpful, and very enjoyable to speak with.

It’s a really great place… spacious and fun with so many seating options; tables for two, high tables, seats at the bar. We were a group of 10 people and were seated in a large hall. Especially cool was the bar wall rising to reveal the band playing music.

Bavarian, cosy, traditional – and full of life: in our traditional Munich restaurant, the brewer´s room, the lion roars daily from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m..
Typically Bavarian delicacies and varied daily meals are served with Löwenbräu beer specialties.
Due to the extensive renovations during the summer 2008, our restaurant has become much friendlier and brighter and also features a great number of technical innovations. Up to 350 guests can either sit in the traditional-style public bar area or in the more elegant and high-quality part of the restaurant. And for groups of all sizes appropriate premises are available, such as cosy little side rooms and separate small rooms. During the summer up to 1.000 visitors can also enjoy getting together the Bavarian way under old shady chestnut trees in our famous traditional beer garden.
The Löwenbräukeller offers all this – namely a cosy little place for everyone.
