I visited Hamburg with friends last weekend, and this restaurant was recommended. It was a 4 hour experience that we highly cherished. The staff were excellent, the atmosphere unpretentious, and the food exquisite. I would highly suggest the wine pairing. Looking forward to returning upon my next visit to this beautiful city.

Very nice evening, great food, very nice atmosphere and very cosy and romantic table for a very special evening with my (now) fiancé. Very nice and effective service. We will definitely come back. Many thanks for a beautiful evening full of great memories.

Make sure you have a reservation before you go. If the weather is nice, I suggest you give them a call to check if you can sit outside. The food was fresh and tasty, the service was quick and our waiter was very kind. We wanted to try the Zunge fish, and he suggested us that he can ask the kitchen to prepare half portion. We had also calamari and schrimps, which were all great. The view is amazing with a very fancy ambient.

Beautiful spot on the pontoon - lovely walk down the pretty steps from the train station, and the ship watching during dinner is hard to beat. 4 course fish menu was on special offer and good value. Slightly odd that swapping the appetitive for a different one (same price on menu) was not allowed.
