Second time we where at zipang and again loved everything about the restaurant the staf,food were again spot on and we loved every step on the menu except for the one that we had to return to our bnb cause we wanted to stay forever :) Thx staf,cooks and owners of zipang we will return next year.. Liman is known for having some of the finest fresh fish around. Located in Hamburg-Winterhude, it features numerous maritime decor accents throughout the dining area. The outdoor seating at Liman allows guests to enjoy the cool breeze under a large awning. Inside, patron feel as if they are visiting a restaurant on a pier or harbor, with the simple blue and white color scheme and framed photos of seaside scenes. To complement the wide selection of fish entrees, Liman serves a wide range of wines, beers and other spirits.

Despite our limited German, we felt very welcomed and very comfortable. In fact, we were able to interact with the staff completely in German, which is what we desired, and they were very patient and helpful. From start to finish, the service and the food were excellent. Hamburg restaurants know how to cook fish, and Liman stands in the forefront.
