Ursprünglich aus Mattinata/Apulien stammend ist sein neues Projekt eine Hommage an seine Heimat, geprägt von seiner Kindheit und vielen Erinnerungen. The coast by east is located at the end of the Großer Grasbrook, directly below the Marco Polo Tower and in the immediate vicinity of the Hamburg Cruise Center. The strikingly curved roof structure was designed by the architect collective EMBT from Barcelona and is modeled on the open flapping of a seagull's wings.
In the warm summer months, the window front, which can be opened completely, combines the spacious terrace and the interior restaurant area to form a large open space with high ceilings and a sophisticated lighting concept.
Discover the walk-in wine cabinet, the open bar with a decorative back buffet and the plant wall in the restaurant, which is completely planted with real plants, and let yourself be pampered by the team of head chef Thilo Haberland.

Der Kern unseres Restaurantschiffs ist die „Alster III“, das langjährige Flaggschiff der „weißen Flotte“. 1930 in Betrieb genommen, 1962 ausgemustert, hat es 1989 als Restaurant „Galatea“ am Ballindamm festgemacht.

Nun hat sich ein Team um die Betriebsleiter Florian Kretschmer & den Küchenchef John Iskaev daran gemacht, das Schiff auf neuen kulinarischen Kurs zu bringen. Der Fokus liegt auf exzellenten Sushi & Steak- Spezialitäten von einigen der besten Lieferanten der Welt. Zum Beispiel:
