Nun hat das »Bangkok Restaurant« Familienzuwachs bekommen. Ein neues Konzept, das weniger die traditionelle Thai-Küche repräsentiert, sondern das pulsierende Leben und die vielen unterschiedlichen Einflüsse der Metropole Bangkok in Food und Ambiente zum Ausdruck bringt.

We were there on a Sunday midday, as expected it was full. The café is very cute, has good outside seating and the food is perfect since it was full on Sunday. The service was lacking a little bit, meaning taking long to even order and it was very loud and stressful sitting at the tables next to the bar. The bar staff was also playing rap music which didn’t at all match the vibe of the cafe. So if you go make sure you don’t sit in the back area of the cafe 😄

Very nice neighborhood location near Opernplatz in Frankfurt. This restaurant exudes an Italian flair - the dishes are varied and we felt very welcome. Service is extraordinary on top.

Griechische Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre im Frankfurter Ostend

Im Februar 2000 eröffnete Jannis, mit seiner finnischen Frau Terttu, das griechische Restaurant „Cafe Jannis“ in der Hanauer Landstraße 6. Als unprätentiöse Arbeiter- und Fußball-Kneipe mit rustikalem Flair und einfachem Speisen-Angebot, erlangte das Café Jannis schnell Kultstatus. 2016 war es dann Zeit für einen Tapetenwechsel – Modernisierungsmaßnahmen und die Umbenennung in Jannis fanden statt. Seitdem speist man im Jannis, in gemütlichem und modernem Ambiente, authentisch griechisch. Im Menü finden sich viele Klassiker, wie frisch gegrillte Souvlaki-Spieße, mit Feta gefüllte Bifteki und selbstverständlich das laut FAZ „beste Gyros der Welt“ (Quelle: FAZ vom 10.12.2017, Peter Badenhop). Auch für Vegetarier 😊, bietet das Jannis eine große Auswahl an den so typisch griechischen Mezze.

Great restaurant, fish and meat mix platters were amazing. Tarama is a must try if you like caviar. Not too many but pretty good wine selection, also.
