Food always wonderful. Great wines and good bar tender for mixed drinks. Seating not always comfortable. Bench seating is hard, but tables with comfortable chairs are available.

We had an amazing first experience. The food was outstanding! The atmosphere is beautiful. The service was fantastic. Our server, Javier was so good! It was my husband's birthday and everyone there made it memorable! I can't wait to go back! thank you Ambra!

Had a great table and our server, Christian, was the best!! The 6 of us enjoyed our food immensely. We were just a little surprised that the gratituity was included in our bill, since I thought it was only included in tables of 8 or more. Nevertheless it was a great dinner.

Alfonso Salazar, better known as “Dirty Al” originally started shrimping as a young man with his father and 6 brothers. In 2003, he and his youngest son, Cameron, who graduated from Culinary School, transformed his bait stand into a restaurant where together they have been known for having “The World’s Best Fried Shrimp”! In 2005, his other two sons returned home to help grow the business. To this day, they now own 7 restaurants on beautiful South Padre Island and across the valley and continue to bring only the “best” Gulf Seafood to each customer’s table.

The food was excellent. It came out very fast. Everything was great. The ambience was very comforting. The male and female bartender/waitress were amazing. I was on the right side of the room yesterday and they were so helping with the menu and everything. It was awesome experience.
