As we had to minimize the capacity of seats in our restaurant, we will offer only seatings for 1,5 hours in the
will serve food and drinks everyday from 12pm till 10pm.
We use the short breaks between the occupancies to clean everything according to the specifications.
At noon we now explicitly ask for reservations, spontaneous visits might be difficult.Furthermore we have to point out that only persons from max.2 different households may sit at one table.
Be prepared to be expelled from able in case of a possible inspection.We are also obliged to record the contact details of all guests so that we can take appropriate action in the event of an infection among our staff or guests.
The service staff will continue to welcome you warmly,but with a mouth and nose protection.Please be so kind as to also wear one until it is placed at your table and make sure you keep the appropriate distance.

You will find us in the middle of Berlin-Mitte between the TV Tower & the Reichstag and only 47.11 meters from Friedrichstraße. On foot you can reach the Friedrichstadtpalast, the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, the Museum Island or the Gendarmenmarkt in only about 10 minutes. The S & U train station Friedrichstraße is only 3 minutes away. You can expect the best traditional German cuisine with a Rhenish touch. From A like apple strudel to Z like pike-perch fillet, everything is prepared fresh daily with selected ingredients from renowned suppliers from the Rhineland and quality-conscious local producers by our kitchen team with a lot of love for you. Last seating for breakfast is at 10:30 (monday-friday), 13:30 (weekend)
Last seating for dinner is at 21:30
In case of bad weather we reserve the right to move your reservations inside of the restaurant.

Excellent beers on tap. Very friendly waitstaff that speak English well if you’re not confident or knowledgeable in German. Lovely beer garden though people are allowed to smoke there but it wasn’t a big deal to me, just something to keep in mind. Very good food too. Found this place through Rick Steves book. Highly recommended!
