Bush Presidential Center, is a contemporary American restaurant which features a locally sourced, organic, seasonal and sustainable menu for weekday lunch and weekend brunch. It is one of the most preferred venues in the city for private events in the evening for groups of up to 150 because of its stunning design, flexibility, private entrance and breezy terrace. Admission to the Center is not required as Café 43 has its own entrance.

I met 4 former coworkers for lunch on a Friday at 11:30am. We had reservations. It was a great experience from start to finish. The food is delicious and well presented. My friend and I had the omelet which was excellent. Two had pecan crusted salmon and one had salmon. All reported to be delicious. Breadsticks were brought to the table right away. We were seated at a round table so it was easy to visit. Our server was great, very attentive, even took our picture for us when we asked. None of us had dessert, so I can’t speak to that. This was my second time being there. I will definitely be back.

We split the beet-Burata salad & the Dover sole meunier & both were stellar. We also really enjoyed the passion fruit dessert. Our server, Jason I think< was excellent & VERY accomodating! An overall great birthday celebration!

I met my son’s family at Burnt mostly because it was halfway between our homes. There were five of us, including my grandsons, 7 and 9. I looked at online reviews before making a reservation on this Friday evening. We all ordered, but we passed things around sort of family-style. The adults had cocktails. I’m not much of a drinker, but the Pecan Bourbon special was very good. My son got a shrimp tomato soup that was tasty as well. We had a pepper meatball appetizer that I could have made a meal on. DIL and I had red snapper, the son had chicken roulade, and the boys had 3-oz steak Frites with fries. All of that was perfect. We had chocolate torte and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Our waiter was Lori, and we couldn’t have asked for better, more pleasant or efficient service. We will definitely go back for more of this.
