Cafe Momentum is a non-profit restaurant that serves as a paid post-release internship for juvenile offenders. Youth are released from detention into the sheltered environment of Café Momentum’s post-release program. Café Momentum’s program teaches critical skills that allow youth to re-enter society in a safe, real-world environment of nurturing accountability. By participating in our program, at-risk young people rotate through every aspect of the restaurant from waiting tables to washing dishes, while working side-by-side with established chefs.

The paid internship gives them the opportunity to exercise and practice their new skills while continuing to develop leadership, social, and vocational skills for as long as they choose to maintain involvement with Café Momentum. Additionally, Café Momentum works with the Dallas County Juvenile Justice Department to serve youth deemed highest risk for incarceration.

Great meal with the added benefit of helping a very worthy cause. The atmosphere was very good and the food did not disappoint. Appetizers, entrees, and deserts were all awesome!

It’s always a pleasure to dine at Montage (formerly Margaret’s) and enjoy the beautiful view from the stunning restaurant and bar area. Tonight, executive Chef Miguel Antonio debuted the new fall menu and I highly recommend it. Service by Holly and the rest of the staff was perfect and I look forward to returning to try more offerings from the new menu.

We had a lovely meal at this fondue restaurant. I would actually rate it slightly better than my most recent experience at Melting Pot. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive. I especially liked having the option to grill our food which allowed us to cook all the leftover protein and bring it home.

This was my first time visiting and I would rate my overall experience as a great one. As an appetizer, I ordered the chargrilled oysters, they were ok, didn’t have the hard crust layer of parmesan cheese I’m used to, but were still good enough. For my entree, I ordered the spaghetti and catfish — spaghetti had great flavor with a bit of spice and the catfish was cooked nicely with a crisp. For drinks, I had the aperol spritz and the frose, both good, but I would say the frose was more of a strawberry daiquiri. All in all, I will be back and can’t wait to try more on the menu!
