Server was very pleasant and attentive. The food was very very good, as usual. I did feel like my cheesy chicken poblano wasn't as warm (temperature) as I had it in the past. Reservation process was great; walked in and we were seated immediately. Overall, a great meal and we will be back!

1890 is a very pleasant fine dining experience. Our server was very adequate, but inexperienced. We had to reach around the table for the olive oil, wine came after food service, etc.. Nothing put us off, but for a top notch experience, you need a bit more attention to detail. The food, wine and ambience were excellent. We are going back.

In the 1950's our grandfather, Giacomo, came to live the American Dream. He moved from Saviano, Italy to live in Long Island, New York. He met his wife and started a family, opening their first location in Long Island, New York, named Village Pizza. As business flourished, we moved to a larger location and changed the name to Alfieri Brothers’ Pizzeria. Again, we outgrew the size of the restaurant and relocated to a larger side of the center where we have remained since 1991. The following year, Saverio Alfieri decided to head south and expand the family business by opening a location in North Texas. Since then, Saverio and his two sons, Anthony and Giacomo, have managed to create one of Dallas/Ft. Worth’s best kept secrets. The Alfieri family has and will continue to serve authentic Italian recipes perfected by Grandma Alfieri herself.

We went here to celebrate a birthday and were incredibly happy with the atmosphere, food and staff. We were especially impressed with one of the managers named Cody.
