Pao boldly reflects celebrated chef Paul Qui’s renowned brand of modern Asian cuisine drawing from his background and range of international styles, including Filipino, Spanish, Japanese, and French. This is my third visit to PAO, and although it is on the pricier side, the overall experience is well worth it. The flavors and uniqueness of the dishes rank among the best I've encountered.

Dining at Kojin was an unforgettable experience — truly Michelin-quality in every sense. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, professional, and perfectly attentive. Every dish showcased the highest quality ingredients, prepared with extraordinary skill and attention to detail. Phuc Yea offers a selection of shareable plates that capture the soulfulness and passion behind family-rooted recipes, the restaurant is inspired by Aniece Meinhold's Vietnamese heritage and Cesar Zapata's Third Coast culinary roots. Under one roof, guests are invited to marvel at Biscayne's blossoming Mimo District; embrace 90's hip-hop, street-cool music; and enjoy Cesar's version of Viet- Cajun cuisine - a lively mash up of fresh and colorful Vietnamese ingredients pumped up with spicy, bold Cajun flavors. This grown up version of Phuc Yea is largely seafood driven.

Brunch features a dim sum style menu that highlights classic American brunch preparations. It is at brunch, Chef Zapata will feature his Gulf and Southern influences more prominently while still integrating Vietnamese breakfast tradition.

This is our second time visiting, and again it did not disappoint. Kitchen timing was a little bit off tonight, but the quality of the food that came out was outstanding. Congratulations on your Michelin Gormand award. Well deserved as the food is always consistently good from one dish to another from those that we have tried on the menu all have been top level.

Shokudo is an Asian Bistro restaurant celebrating our 11th year anniversary with a special discounted menu until August 31st, 2023, brought to you by the people behind South Beach’s long-standing favorite Toni's Sushi Bar of South Beach and the hit ramen restaurant, Shimuja, located in Davie.

Translated from Japanese as "the path to good food," Shokudo specializes in providing a broad range of comfort food favorites from across Asia such as Sushi, Ramen, Kalbi, Pho, and an array of other cross-cultural dishes. With over 25 years of experience in Miami, Shokudo brings the best of Asian cuisine to the Buena Vista neighborhood, located just steps from Miami’s Design District. The restaurant boasts an open kitchen; a modern, bright interior design; a serene outdoor covered patio; and a full bar.

We are currently open for indoor/outdoor dining, takeout and delivery seven days a week from 5 to 10:30p.m. Be sure to visit us during Happy Hour, offered daily from 5 to 7:00p.m

Chef Director Björn Weissgerber serves a diverse menu inspired by the Oceans of Asia, with a particular focus on Japan – sushi, sashimi, tiradito, tempura and robata. Sexy Fish has dishes to please all palates, from traditional tastes to plant-based plates. Among the signature dishes, you’ll be able to dive into are the Bloody Mary Ceviche; our Yellow Tartare, Smoked Tofu and Caviar; plus, the wonderful Enrygii Mushroom Tempura, with Summer Truffle and Aka Miso, as well as its King Crab and Bone Marrow counterpart. Sexy Fish’s interior is designed by the award-winning Martin Brudnizki Studio and includes a show-stopping fish tank. This is a beautiful spot to watch the action on the Miami River while dining outdoors on a lovely Asian-themed terrace. We were there at 5:30 and made a dinner out of some excellent HH bites. The staff, who were friendly and efficient, told us there’s a new chef who will be changing the menu shortly. But we loved what we had: shrimp tempura roll, sticky ribs, shishito peppers, crab rangoon and —especially— the pork bao buns. Please keep that on the menu! Reasonable prices too.
