First review ever. Loving Mexican food and having eaten it everywhere, Talavera was an enlightening and amazing experience. From an endless list of premium tequila and mezcal to the best margarita I ever had, we were truly floored. The food was regional and national, from the best queso fundido to the tacos to the mains from around the country. Side salsas were bright and heat was real, along with flavor. Bread pudding on par with any I’ve ever had (except mi abuela). Valet in front and mariachis on call for any special occasion. Will be back to experience this again.

The ambiance is great The place was busy, but people were enjoying themselves The food main dishes, the guacamole appetizer, and the drinks were excellent Astrid, our server, was very attentive. The mariachi band was a nice touch. They sang happy birthday to my husband and took requests. We will go back for sure

The decoration of the restaurant has been carefully selected from the most important craftsmen of Mexico. We enjoy its colors, within the geometry of Mexican Art Deco architecture; framing through its brilliant black and golden colors the splendor of its magic.
With the leading role, we have our monumental bars along with one of the larges tequila and mezcal selection in town and our bar manager created delicious and sophisticate cocktails.
Every cantina is a cultural expression of the place where it is found.
Gastronomy-wise, we have an extensive menu of Mexican Cuisine dishes, offering representative dishes of each state of the country, with traditional techniques and recipes (handmade tortilla, sauces made in a molcajete ), along with avant-garde techniques such as vacuum cooking, spherification, foam, etc. We constantly update our menu and the chef’s recommendations with new and top quality ingredients.

Amazing night in Cantina la 20. I visited the restaurant a couple of times but it was my mum’s first time. She loved it. Service and customer attention, from the hostesses to the servers and the food — everything was spectacular. Truly worth highlighting.
