Bakalo’ Miami is an act of love towards Greece. And a celebration of fun and freedom always associated with Mykonos, the Greek island queen of the Aegean Sea.
The first Bakalo’ opened its doors in 2010 in Mykonos as a Greek casual chic eatery and immediately became the favorite spot of foodies in the island. At our Miami Beach location our commitment is to continue to offer fresh, healthy and natural Greek cuisine that reflects contemporary trends and to rediscover authentic flavors from other time adapted to the new era.
All our dishes are served family style, and fish, shellfish, meat and of course vegetarian preparations are equally present, and our wines and beers offer labels often difficult to find outside Greece.
Central part of the Bakalo’ Mykonos experience are the open kitchen, that allows patrons to feel and share the energy of the Chefs at work, and the outdoor patio, that gives guests the opportunity to enjoy the street feeling and alfresco dining.

Super fab on all fronts! Taramasolata + fava spreads + grilled pita + greek salad + dreamy lamb and lemon potatoes... only regret is we didn;t leave room for organge cake dessert - next time!!!

We had a great dining experience at Kalamata. The two of us shared hummus, the mixed grill plate, custard, and Turkish tea. Everything was excellent and the portions were more than generous. The hummus was creamy and full of flavor and the pita was soft and fresh. The meat in our mixed grill was very good. I really liked the gyro meat with tzaziki and the lamb chop while my partner loved the chicken. The rice was fluffy and slightly sweet. Be sure to ask for some hot sauce, it had a pleasant heat and a great vinegar-y tang. The custard was beyond excellent - light, creamy, and topped with crushed pistachios. We finished with the Turkish tea that was flavorful and tasty with a little honey added. The atmosphere was nice, cool, and well decorated. We ate inside due to the heat outside and we're glad we did. The sidewalk dining looked great but there was a lot of foot traffic and some diners with an ill-behaved dog. We arrived at 5:30 and we're the only ones inside although the outdoor dining was busier. Shortly before leaving, a party of 10+ arrived to dine inside. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will be dining here again.

MILA OMAKASE IS A 10-SEAT ENCLOSED ROOM OFFERING THE MOST EXCLUSIVE AND AUTHENTIC JOURNEY IN THE FAR EAST, MAGNIFIED BY THE MEDITERRANEAN INFLUENCES OF 26 TIME MICHELIN AWARDED CHEF MICHAËL MICHAELIDIS.

The intimate, ultra luxurious and transporting space features a massive overhanging cherry blossom tree, a Japanese craftsmanship-inspired wallpaper screen, a dramatic marble countertop, a 500-years old hinoki wood cutting board, and wall-mounted niches serving as members’ chopstick display.

The ever-changing dishes evolve according to the 72 Japanese micro-seasons, involving the most refined ingredients such as line-caught fish flown in daily, innovative vegetables and condiments, sea urchin from Hokkaido, bluefin tuna from Ehime prefecture, and Sanuki Olive Wagyu from Kagawa prefecture in Japan.

The Den serves Edomae Tokyo style sushi. The Den is a 18 seat counter, omakase style sushi restaurant, where Sushi chefs will guide guests through an authentic omakase experience. Most ingredients will be flown in directly from the Toyosu fish market in Tokyo.

Simply perfect. If you are in the Miami Beach area for the weekend, you have to go to the Den. Amazing omikase experience that will not disappoint. The food was excellent. Staff was superb. Our chef was outstanding, friendly and knowledgeable. This was an experience you will measure all other omikase’s against!!
