Mujō is a one MICHELIN star, intimate, omakase-only tasting menu experience serving modern edomae sushi led by Executive Chef J. Trent Harris. Our menu changes daily and reflects the best seasonal ingredients available, as well as fish flown in directly from Japan. The experience consists of a series of small plates and a progression of seasonal nigiri. We are inspired by the Japanese concept of ichi-go ichi-e, 一期一会, or “one time, one meeting. Our goal is not to recreate the sushiya of Japan, but to offer an experience that represents who and where we are, while respecting and honoring the traditions of edomae sushi. Inspired by the concept of omotenashi, but rooted in southern hospitality.

Absolutely incredible experience! We went for our anniversary and the staff congratulated us and even wrote us a note at the end thanking us for choosing them! The experience was amazing and was the best dinner I have ever had!

Our meal was delicious and attention to every detail was flawless. Our server, bar tender, wait staff were spot on including the young man who wipes spills and brings different utensils between courses - very attentive, polite and impressive. We loved the birthday touch hand-written card with decorated envelope, berry sorbet with candle and the chef’s visit and birthday wishes.

A very different dining experience. Great place if you have several food allergies. The drinks were gourmet as is the signature items on the menu. The decor emulates the vibe you would get in the downtown Atlanta area. We are going to start going every time they change the menu to another country, so we can have different experiences every time we visit. They have a great thing happening.

We came here for our first time for our anniversary, Josh took care of us and he was just phenomenal. We asked him for recommendations on our plates and our drinks which he paired perfectly. He made sure of it! He was able to deliver an exquisite service along with a very detailed description of our plates. Would go again, would recommend to a friend!

Kristin or Christine...I believe was her name (shoulder length hair, Caucasian woman, believe she may also be the bar manager) . She is hands down awesome she makes the experience fun and relaxing. She never makes you feel rushed and takes her time as she communicates with you.
