We loved our food. Service was disappointing. We were at a round table in the middle. Bread never came. The waiter was poorly dressed and sloppy looking. He tried, was nice enough, but just wasn’t the calibre of your establishment. I took friends for a treat, having talked about loving my total experience there. Our drinks were gone and we had ordered wine, I saw it sitting on the bar several minutes before it was delivered. Evening topped off by giving me the wrong bill. Then apologized and said “things got crazy”…..but I spent over $300 and it didn’t feel all that special. I have loved going there and didn’t mind the bill. Not so much this time.

We are located in the west wing of the Historic Scottish Rite Children's Hospital building, at the corner of Oakview Rd. and W Hill St., directly across from Decatur Fire Station 2 on W Hill St. and across from Harmony Park on Oakview Rd.
Parking is available in our rear parking lot, accessible via Oakview Rd.

The 57th Fighter Group Restaurant is a unique restaurant located in Atlanta which commemorates the historic 57th fighter squadron of World War II. As one might expect, the walls of the restaurant are covered with decor, art and photographs of the era, particularly planes and pilots of the U.S. Air Force during the 1940s. A hidden gem.

Enjoy a relaxing setting in one of our inside dining rooms complete with fireplaces, a touch of jazz music playing throughout, and an incredible view of the airport with taxiing planes and helicopters. If you want to go even further into the 57th experience, head over to our lounge where we have two full bars, a dancefloor, and a large outdoor patio right next to the runway of the airport to get that full feeling of being next to the aircraft. Safely of course!
As far as the food, we offer mostly American cuisines with additional specialty dishes from our amazing chef Aaron James always keeping quality delicious and the variety a must! See you all soon!

I ordered the 57th Prime Rib Sandwich with the potoato wedeges as my side item. While the sandwich "looked great" when served, the taste unfortunately was far from that! The "prime rib" slices looked and tasted like they has been microwaved to death! No taste to the meat what so ever! Thank goodness for the creamy horseradish sauce, because if it hadn't been for that, I probably wouldn't have even eaten the little bit of the sandwich that I did. I basically made my meal off the potato wedges! NOTE: We did start with the crab/spinach/artichoke dip and it was very tasty, heated perfectly, and served with warm, crispy tortilla chips.

Tera T is the manager and she is phenomenal. She was able to quickly accommodate our large party, and it was one of best dining experiences I have had in a long time. The staff was excellent and the food was outstanding.

Celebrated my birthday it was so much fun. I ordered the crabcakes basmati rice and lamb chops. It was all delicious. I didn’t get a lychee Matel because I don’t drink and that was good as well. The entertainment was so fun and nice refreshing for sure.
