Honeysuckle Provisions is an award winning afro-centric grocery/cafe and food-focused community center located in West Philadelphia owned and operated by Chef Omar Tate and Chef Cybille St.Aude-Tate. They predominantly feature Black-made, -owned, and -grown foods, with offerings ranging from pantry basics and a zero-waste café, to a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu that continues to share the stories and traditions of Black foodways. Honeysuckle Provisions offers a fresh perspective on food systems - expanding the idea of Afrocentricity in food by redefining the limits of a restaurant and celebrating the legacies and recipes of those that came before them.

This was my fourth visit to "Untitled" and the best culinary experience yet. Omar Tate is the most creative chef in Philadelphia--a true artist--presenting fresh, mostly locally sourced food, in inventive and very tasty ways, telling a story as he goes. The month of May celebrated Haiti, with the menu curated by his wife Cybille St. Aude-Tate. There were a dozen small dishes such as a conch stew, roasted oysters, a plantain reduction, beef with an amazing sauce--that were unique and made one want to lick the plate they were so good. Dining at Honeysuckle Provisions is an outstanding dining experience.

We are ecstatic to open a state of the art open kitchen, serving the two dishes we recklessly love and cannot live without...noodles and sushi! Our goal is to focus heavily on freshness and quality, as we make craft noodles and sushi for our guests. That also means we will be making everything from scratch, in-house. This includes soups, tare (sauces), toppings, and last but not least, fresh crafted noodles. We hope to see you soon as we serve you our favorite foods. What an amazing dinner. We are vegetarian, this was one of the best veggie ramens we have had in the city, and overall. I would definitely go back. If you eat seafood I wouldn’t skip this, the dishes looked amazing and it seemed the guests were really enjoying them.

Never hade a bad experience. Not only is the food second to none in the entire city, but the service is top of the line. The knowledge, precision, and anticipation the staff have to cater your experience is outstanding.

A lovely lunch! Terrific friendly efficient service and truly delicious food. Our server offered great recommendations and was spot on. If the crab small plate is on the menu do not stop, do not pass go, just order it immediately. Delicious.

The happy hour deals are absolutely a steal. The vibe is relaxed and fun, and there’s a window where you can watch them make the dumplings. The back room has large tables and booths that can accommodate larger parties. All of the happy hour soup dumplings were great, and also highly recommend the Taiwanese popcorn chicken. We also had some assorted cold and hot vegetables from the regular menu and those were great also.

This is a special place where I get to see my beautiful friends perform. The artists are incredible and versatile and some of the best in philly. GO! Enjoy!! ...but maybe italian meatballs should just be "italian meatball" on the menu, since its a single meatball for $14.

The food and service by Emmie (sp) was excellent! BBQ from Lucky Well is about as good as it gets! However couple of suggestions. If u order from more than one concept, such as Tapas and BBQ, the food coming out should be organized. Unfortunately, the BBQ came out right away, about 5 minutes after ordering, and the cod and veggies took 30 minutes. Unfortunately one person in our party had to watch us eat BBQ, and then we watched her eat her seafood. So while I love the concept of multiple restaurants acting like one, such as one menu, our experience had the feel of a food court when everyone gets their food at a different time. Also one can’t find a menu. I was planning to have Paella , but unfortunately that was no longer on the menu offered last night. Otherwise good experience/concept that could have been a lot better.
