Farfalla is a welcome addition to the many quality restaurants in downtown Wilmington. The service at Farfalla was impeccable - the wait staff professional and attentive. The chef visited our table to be sure the food and the service met our expectations. They did - and we greatly appreciate the personal touch the chef added to our dining experience. The restaurant itself is relatively small, but the two dining rooms are well equipped, creating a warm and very pleasant ambiance. Most critically, the dishes we tried met and surpassed our expectations. The menu is not extensive, but the dishes offered cover the gamut of the best of Italian cuisine - with just the right amount of culinary originality to make those dishes stand out, as did my bolognese and my wife’s chicken parmigiana. The salad we had - “This Isn’t Cesar Salad” - was unique and delicious - as was the olive oil cake. I am pleased to add Farfalla to my list of favorite dining spots.

This was our first time at Aqua and did not disappoint. Our meal was outstanding as was the service. Highly recommend!! We also received a celebratory glass of champagne for our anniversary!

Connor took great care to be sure that my allergies were understood by the chef and our experience was top notch. From the bacon wrapped scallops to filet flight with a great bottle of Pinot Noir to the decaf espresso with chilled Frangelico and raspberry sorbet and salted Carmel cheesecake for my husband - it was one of the best dining experiences we have had. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Hours: Open Wed-Mon 4pm and we are closed on Tuesdays.
Reservations are preferred, though walk ins are always welcome!
There is a parking deck one block away on Market Street, between Front Street and Second Street. There is also paid street parking (free after 6:30pm and free all day Sunday).
Your table will be reserved for 2 hours, and we ask that you please honor your reservation time. If you require a longer time to dine, please contact us so that we can accommodate your request.

We are open for carry out and for dine-in guests. The balcony tables are available first come first serve upon reservation. If one is not available upon arrival, guests are welcome to wait at the bar or in the lounge until one becomes available.
