I always have mixed feelings about Nobu, as you eat well sometimes and not at other times. This time we went to the Omakase for its 30th anniversary and I have to say that almost everything was perfect, but there was one detail in the nigitis where the rice was very hard, cold and too pressed in the technique. But the best dish was the avocado and caviar taco without rice and the King Crab tempura. Would I go again, YES.

With a menu that pleases even the most sophisticated of palates, feast on imported Asian and Japanese fish, imported seafood, sushi rolls and exotic delicacies. The exclusive lounge menu features appetizing items not available at other Nobu locations and available only after the main dining room closes. In the mood for sake? Nobu stocks three rare sakes from Japan's Hokusetsu brewery on Sado Island, one of which is made by hand and goes through a slow drip process.

Always a good dinner at Morimoto. It’s not an intimate setting, but the food and service is always spectacular. The himachi tacos and gyoza are must have for appetizers!!

Solid food, great service, but honestly the $40 apps and $30 rolls aren’t justified.
