Poe’s Tavern specializes in gourmet hamburgers (ground in-house and cooked to temperature), hand-cut french fries, fish tacos, entrée salads, quesadillas and Edgar’s Nachos. Inspired by noted author Edgar Allan Poe, the restaurant is located a block from the river and the Plant Riverside District. The building’s renovation from an old fire station won an AGC Build Georgia Award in 2023.
