The Gruene Door Restaurant is located in beautiful Gruene Lake Village in New Braunfels, Texas. We are Gruene’s only casual, fine dining restaurant combining the best in food, service, and atmosphere. Every menu item is prepared 100% in house by our chefs.

Open for lunch and dinner, we are the perfect destination for a romantic dinner, birthday celebration, private party, lunch with friends, or just a casual night out.

When booking the patio, please mind the weather. If the indoor restaurant is fully booked, we may not be able to accommodate a request to move indoors.

HIce una reservación para ir a comer con mi esposa. Muy buena ubicación para los que buscamos salir a comer y que vivimos en el área de Canyon Lake. Pros: 1) Muy buena apariencia del lugar, logra crear una apariencia de calidad. 2) Buena selección de platillos y a la vez buena combinación en la oferta de diferentes productos. 3) La carta de vinos se me hizo interesante también, aunque me hubiera gustado ver vinos de España / área de l Rioja. 4) Buena calidad en las bebidas preparadas. 5) Lugar cómodo para estar un buen rato. 6) Nos encantaron los crab cakes y su guarnición. Cons: 1) La atención que nosotros recibimos desde la llegada fue muy buena; Pero quiero hacer notar que 3 parejas de comensales, que llegaron después, tuvieron que esperar un momento largo para ser atendidos. Increible porque el lugar estaba casi vacío, pero no se como el personal se las ingeniaba para no estar por largos momentos en la entrada. Debe haber una persona que revise esa situación. Es incómodo estar parado esperando que alguien te atienda para ser sentado, ya lo he experimentado. 2) El postre, pedimos Creme Brulee, estaba frío y por mucho he probado mejores en varios otros lugares. Deben tener cuidado en esto. Obviamente lo recomiendo y estaré pendiente de visitarlo a la hora de la cena, en dónde se ve mucha mejor opción de platillos.
