We are proud to bring you Rye & Thyme, an American Tavern, in the space formerly occupied by The Monument Grill in the historic Wood Block Building of 1890 in downtown Leominster. The atmosphere at Rye & Thyme has all the charm of an old Tavern and features a new Raw Bar with a rotating selection of the freshest shellfish from local waters. Service was phenomenal and the beer and spirits options were great, but I felt as though the food was a bit overpriced for the quality that we received.

Went with my daughter to celebrate her birthday. Food was OK - more pub fare than true fine dining. Waitress raved about the burger and ingredients which was part of a city-wide burger competition. The burger was OK - I'd give it a "B". French Fries were edible but nothing to rave about. Not a place I'd repeat for dinner but would come in for a beer to meet friends, etc.

Sisters Night Out. My sister and I went for dinner following a retirement party at the Library. It was a beautiful weather night so we opted to sit outside. The food and drinks were amazing as always. I recommend anyone that likes french fries to try the Parmesan Truffle Fries; they are my weakness!

Continue to just love this place! Especially in the summer, the patio is great (and who would expect that in downtown Leominster? It's wonderful!) Food and drinks are always top-notch, and the prices are mid-range, but reasonable for the quality and quantity served. Service is always good, and often great. R&T is my go-to for a fun night out guaranteed.

Very goods d meal. Wish a few more dinner items (like a dinner steak) on father's day brunch menu, but the burger was very good and the Blanton' bourbon excellent.

Meh.

Reservations - ready and waiting for us.

Dress of clientele ranged from dirty sports teams to ties/dresses. Loud. Full bar, and maybe all this is normal for Daturday night - not sure.

Requested slight change to drink special - easily adapted and delivered promptly. Very good.

Ordered appetizer and waited. It came and server was not around much. Only came to take dinner order when clearing app dish. Slow on the water refills.

Salad then came (Caesar was very good). Each ordered an entree and added one side dish (to split). Food was not fast, but was good. Filet was not great (not a great cut, and overcooked). Tuna was excellent. They never brought out the side dish, but never allowed us to tell them. By the time someone came over the meals were basically done. Check was delivered promptly, but for that much money - it should have been better. For all that went on we could have spent half (or 2/3) as much at a half dozen places and had the same experience.

I was here for a group event and thought the food was very gpod. Maybe just was an off night. Caesar salad with very little dressing. My pasta dish with clams lacked flavor. My husbabd enjoyed his sirloin. Vent was blowing on us at first. I was cold with a sweater on. Waitress was very helpful and pleasant.

This was my second time visiting Rye and Thyme. Went for small lunch after my daughter's commencement ceremony at Fitchburg State University. Wish we knew all this time that it was there! Would have come more often for sure!!!!

Now that the weather is nicer (at least some days) we have try to have our regular lunch meetings outside here at Rye and Thyme. The food and service are consistently amazing! I would recommend trying it out!

Been here now a few times for dinner as well as now for lunch and it just seems to really deliver! Great oyster selection (Highly recommend the ones from Virginia) smart wine list, and terrific sandwiches. Nice service as well. All around, it's worth the trip.

Food was undercooked lacked seasoning. Over priced for a terrible quality of food.

I was very disappointed with the "skillet breakfast" entree I ordered on Mothers' Day. I was surprised to discover a soaky piece of sourdough bread at the bottom of the small skillet. Resting on top of the soaky bread was a slab of mostly fatty bacon with blacked edges, luke warm corned beef hash to one side, and two over-easy eggs on top (I had ordered scrambled eggs). With basic ingredients as these I am perplexed that the breakfast didn't match my expectations.

If you've never been to Rye & Thyme you are certainly missing out on a gem! Their food is always fresh and prepared to perfection. The beer selection is probably the best in central Massachusetts with many different local & and regional selections. We reserved a table for Mothers Day brunch with the girls and they did not disappoint... we ate Great food and enjoyed great company, just wish I could afford to do it every weekend

6:30 pm Saturday night, busy, noisy as we expected. Reservations made 3 days prior.
5-10 minute wait for table. Seated in main dining room despite specific request for 'bar side, private table or booth'. We were quickly accommodated when we mentioned it. Waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Ordered one dozen oysters. They were generally too small and several of them shouldn't have been served. Ale battered fish and chips were ok. Chowder, lamb lollipops and salmon bar menu item were all very good. The main dining room was 'raucus'. The bar was not as loud but still too loud for us and we don't mind a little noise in a busy restaurant at a busy hour. I'm glad the restaurant is there. Better than average and not much competition in it's class locally.

Loved their fish and chips. Was a bit apprehensive as this was ale battered. But not too thick...light coating...quite tasty. Service was a little slow. We sat out in back room and our server was also waiting on large party behind us. Once food was brought we had to flag her down after several minutes of waiting for condiments to accompany the meal. That really shouldn't happen. Felt bad for her because she was running around.

Food was not seasoned and lacked flavor. The filets at chain steak houses are better for half the price.
Others at the table seemed to enjoy their meal more than I had.
