Rx Boiler Room - Mandalay Bay
Showcasing a playful interior design that defies its new age, Rx Boiler Room offers a modern reflection of the Victorian era, celebrating the steampunk sub-genre often associated with science-fiction and inspired by industrialized Western civilization during the 19th century.

Our waitress was amazing , loved everything about it.
It was a fun experience with very good food. Our server was very personable and knowledgeable.
Great food and decor. Service was slow but the House was packed.
A bit pricey but the food was pretty dang good. The server was very nice as well.
The ambience was great. The cocktails were unique and very good. The service wasn’t spectacular
Menu filled with things you want to eat... I had the chicken and waffles... mind blowing.
At first my husband and I were a little skecptical, but from the meat and cheese board, to lamb shank everything was AMAZING love the steampunk decor and upon finding out it was our anniversary the waitress brought us out a complimentary glass of champagne!! When we come back to Vegas we will definitely come back here!!
To be honest, I was expecting more. The biggest disappointment started with the hostess, not even a spec of a mile when we came in, no hello how are you and almost looked like we were bothering her. The food was okay and their menu has only a few selections. Poor list of wines as well.
I went for my birthday! The food was great! The experience from beginning to end was absolutely phenomenal. Our waitress was sweet and her love for Harry Potter had the table just loving her.
I would definitely come back for more!!
Loved the steampunk decor. Very cool! We dined for Restaurant Week and the food did not disappoint! Filet mignon was delicious. When they brought out the meat they mixed up my husband’s and mine (I like mine more well done), no biggie we just traded plates. Our server immediately came over and apologized, then she brought over a drink on the house. We didn’t even plan on telling them about the little mix up. However, the server was so attentive that she noticed. It’s been a long time since we received such pleasant service. Highly recommend for a date night.
This Victorian-Steampunk theme restaurant has superb food. We made a meal of several small appetizers, each of which was amazing, especially the duck poutine. The ambience is excellent too.
We had a delicious meal and great service. The decor and ambiance is romantic and eclectic.
Unique atmosphere- creative menu (especially desserts) - attentive service
Cool spot to hang out and eat great food and drink tasty cocktails. Service was good. It’s worth the visit.
Outstanding selection of chef prepared items. This was our first visit and we were very impressed. The seafood pot pie and scallop dishes were amazing. Great ambiance and decor made it feel like a special treat.
Unique place with a fantastic menu and interesting drinks. Smoked bourbon and homemade cola is amazing. Little pricy but not overkill
It was fine and I will most likely return on a non-business event. Thank you!
LOVED IT! My new favorite spot in Mandalay Bay. GREAT VIBE!
Service was slow. Bar service was rude
The food was incredible, but the service was a disaster. Service started ok, but our waiter was assigned a large table soon after we got our food. We were completely forgotten after he got large group. We were never offered dessert. We had to waive down a manager in order to pay our bill. It took almost an hour after finishing our food to get the bill paid.
Worst service I’ve ever had in Vegas. We waited over an hour for our meal and our server never once checked in on us until we approached him. Never going back. Second time I’ve eaten at RM owned facility. Both were bad experiences.
Charcutuerie board, lettuce wraps and meatball appetizers all excellent. Mains of seafood pot pie and chicken equally delicious. Helpful wait staff and fun little ice cream flavor guess game to finish off. Would recommend.
Bait and Switch - the menu had about 10% of the items we saw online. The entire reason we picked the spot. The food was good, the service as spot on, but it was not the meal we thinking we were going to have. Turns out Mandalay Bay does not update the online menus. We were told you have to go directly the The Boiler Room website to get the most updated version . Good luck, all links bring you back to the Mandalay .
My wife had dinner here for the first time and it was wonderful.
Three areas of seating and one is more like a lounge than a dining room. I would avoid that unless you want a more lively setting. The back room is very comfortable and quiet. Side room sort of in between other two. We dined on small plates and were very pleased. Quality ingredients and very tasty presentations. Especially recommend the Peking Duck Lettuce Wraps. Saw some very interesting large plates coming out that have me looking forward to our next visit.
The appetizers were different than your normal and were amazing. Highly recommend the tater tots and chicken pot pie nuggets! Service was great
Food here is creative and outstanding. We got mostly small plates to share. Don't miss the Bulgogi Fries!
We absolutely loved this place! Everything was perfect and beyond expectation. We ordered the duck lettuce wraps which are delicious. I ordered the brisket, which was the one of best I've ever had. My girlfriend ordered the lamb and raved about it for weeks. The flavor in the food here is unbelievable. The service was excellent and we loved the unique steampunk atmosphere. It's become our new favorite Las Vegas dinner spot.
Server was excellent. Very sweet and attentive. Would go back just for her.
Arrival to Departure...OUTSTANDING!
One of the best restaurants in Vegas and we've been to to many. Creative menu, shockingly creative drinks and top notch service. We had new overseas partners with us and they were impressed. Yeah, we liked it!
Came here for dinner New Year’s eve. Good meal, good service.
Good food and service. The prices of the charcuterie and cheese boards is a great deal for the variety of choices on the boards.
We were celebrating our 4th anniversary. First thing they asked us was if we wanted to sit next to each other or across from each other. I loved that because we always want to sit next to each other but nobody ever asks that question. Cheese board was amazing! Our ribeye was delicious and they surprised us with a yummy dessert for our anniversary. Wonderful start to our evening!
Decent food and service, but nothing close to what you'd expect for the price.
The food was excellent. Especially the Chicken Pot Pie Nuggets. Our server, on the other hand, was pretty non existent through our time there. A different server took our entree order because he saw us looking around, so that says something. I'm not sure if I'd go back to eat a meal due to the service, but if they serve the small plates at the bar I'd consider doing that.
We have always enjoyed venues presented by Rick Moonen. At first blush, I didn't think the food at Rx Broiler Room would meet the standards of his previous restaurants. The food was fabulous; great/attentive staff; and great ambiance.
Intriguing theming, quiet atmosphere, and dim yet not dark lighting provided a splendid background for one of the best Christmas meals I have ever enjoyed
I brought my daughter here before seeing Cirque's One. After reading the other reviews and being prepared for a great Vegas meal, it was very disappointing. 1st, it was a little empty and chill - should have seen that as a sign, but it's the low season and many restaurants were closed for the holidays. We were given a dirty plate for our appetizers. We ordered the Meatball small plate - it tasted like a meatball I could thaw out of a precooked meal. The salmon flatbread was decent, best food we had I would say, but nothing unusual - compared to how the restaurant is marketing its cuisine. I had the seafood pot pie, which was under seasoned and uninspiring. My daughter had the seared scallops, which were cooked perfectly, but the ham was dry and the corn was a little sad. Our server didn't remember what was available for drinks - said she hadn't worked in a while, and the guy that filled our water and tea was a bit awkward and inconsistent in his refills. Anyway, all-in-all, not worth the $120 we dropped that evening.
LOVE this restaurant - it is a must when we come to Vegas!
