Rutledge Cab Co.
Our open table reservation made sure they were ready for us. We sat out on the patio, and the service was wonderful ( thanks Tim).
The burger and Ruben sandwich were delicious and filling. We highly recommend that everyone try the potato salad!
A great night.
Food was outrageous, a must stop if you are in the area. Service was impeccable and atmosphere was really fun!
Great place, great food, great atmosphere and friendly staff!
Delicious & great service. Highly recommend. Love Rutledge Cab Co
I have been here twice now, once for lunch and once for brunch and both times were fabulous! The menu is quite unique, the dishes were wonderful and our servers were most accommodating. Very easy to find and there is plenty of parking. Can’t wait to go back!
This is a nice down home eatery. The food is ample and tasty. I was a little disappointed with the Reuben. It missed the Russian dressing and sauerkraut. That said, it is still one of my favorite restaurants. Great service and attentive staff.
Great service and tasty meal!
Best Monday night $5 burger deal around! And there is a happy hour as well. On site parking.
Love this place. Brunch was delish! I had the Salmon and spinach omelet.
Orders were wrong and could not get drink orders correct. Waitstaff was incredibly helpful and friendly
Excellent food and service. A little noisy.
Amazing burgers. Also had the French onion soup which was delicious
We went for Lunch on a Sunday. While they did have a brunch menu 2 of us ordered from the standard menu. The other ordered from the brunch menu. The House smoked pastrami was out of this world. The others in the party had the BLT and the Corned Beef Hash. Everyone raved about their meals. As a local it is always nice to go places that are not touristy. Service was outstanding.
We love this place! The chicken biscuit is amazing!! A must have
Had fun. Good food.
I was not impressed. My wife and shared appetizers instead of entrees.
The poutine was too dry, it needed much more gravy/sauce.
The empanadas were a bit crunchy.
The service was mediocre.
The best burgers in Charleston and the best I have ever eaten.
Excellent service and food.
Our visit there was mid afternoon so they were not busy at all. Great selection for everyone to choose from including an eleven year old. A tad more than I thought for our selections but the food was phenomenal. We ordered a Reuben sandwich, shrimp burger, the special of the day..... grilled cheese hamburger, bowl of Mac n cheese, poutine and a fish sandwich. All except the Mac n cheese came with a side. 2 milkshakes 2 sodas and a water. $157 before tip. On vacation so I didn’t care and maybe I don’t eat out enough to realize the cost. Maybe that’s reasonable? No judgement...... food was awesome!
Very friendly waitress. Had the special lunch, it was excellent
Went for brunch after many positive recommendations, but was disappointed. We got two rounds of dirty silverware. The food was tasty (I very much enjoyed the cornbeef hash), but one member of my party complained that the side of bacon was covered in syrup or honey or something sweet that was not on the menu and he did not enjoy. The major complaint was that the coffee was unbearably undrinkable. I'm a five-cup-of-coffee-a-day drink-coffee-anywhere-you-can-get-it (everywhere from gas stations to boutique coffee shops) kinda person and this was the worst cup of coffee I've ever had. Bar none. The server was nice, although seemed frustrated when we asked for silverware. Atmosphere was good. Brunch cocktails were very good. That coffee though....
Cool place, great service, amazing food. Fave with the locals and I can see why.
I thoroughly enjoy my meal! I will be back.
Folks at RCC are always great and very accommodating
Sat in the back by the kitchen for the first tine and it was busy and loud from the music. It was burger night and the burgers were excellent although we waited and as we found out when they brought us our food that the first tine around the burgers were not cooked to the right temperature. No matter it was all good. Tried having the sage gravy on the fries and that was yum!
As always it was a great experience. Their burgers are amazing!!!
Great as always, but I had to downgrade because taking the breakfast options away is totally unsat!! Breakfast burrito at dinner makes us SOOO happy. No breakfast choices is a sad face for all involved.
We had dinner at the bar. The service was just fantastic. Food was great. Highly recommend Rueben sandwich and their caprase salad with extra glaze was wonderful. You cannot go wrong. Plenty of free parking and they do take reservations
The food was delicious! I had the French Onion soup that was very good (made with rye bread) & blue cheese burgers! Hands down one of the best blue cheese burgers I’ve ever had! Perfect ratio of bun to meat & cheese!!
We used to love it here. New menu is not great... empanadas were not good... over fried and dry... the coleslaw was gross...and burger was mediocre... best thing about the meal was the fries. The French onion soup was our favorite and it was really bad...
Its always very relaxing and delicious at Rutledge. Simply good food with good service!
I arrived at restaurant only to be told that I did not have a reservation and was told that I would have to wait 35 minutes for a table
Nice, casual atmosphere. Menu was not huge but plenty of choices with moderate prices. We will definitely go back again!
Rutledge Cab is an unpretentious neighborhood bar and grill that never disappoints. Excellent burgers, sandwiches, and salads accompanied by friendly and efficient service. One member of our group was in a wheelchair, and this need was met with an immediate and smoothly executed solution. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, our server was attentive and available.
Super delicious Bloody Mary with a stellar brunch menu!!!
Service was very slow. Food even slower. Not a busy night. Mildly disappointing.
Great spot for a business lunch. The booths provide space for focused discussion. The menu has been culled to key offerings. Unfortunately the famed skewers are no longer a lunch menu item.
Menu on the internet is not the same as menu in restaurant!
Food was really good and our service was good. We asked to sit in the main dining room in a booth because the side porch area was so loud and it was freezing. The hostess said the booths were all full. There were at least 4 booths open the entire time we were there. The noise level was horrible where we sat and it was so cold that we it was impossible to enjoy our dinner.
Fun time. Nice surprise.
