   The #food: superb The #waitstaff: Outstanding (Daniel H. was terrific) #Ambiance: can’t beat it (River view and luxurious furnishings). #Warning: Beware the potential coupon scam combined with the alcohol up charge scam. Yes, we were probably scammed. At a “upscale” restaurant that prides itself on being the best. We had made the reservations upon receiving a $25 off “coupon” via email. I carefully checked the restrictions, and there was no mention of a corporate offer only. We presented the coupon to the waiter upon arrival and he said “we’ll take care of it when you get the check.” When we got the check, we were told by Management that “we don’t honor this offer because we’re not a corporate store.” I must have looked crestfallen, so Mary magnanimously said she would ”take it off the check,” but she clearly didn’t like it. What we didn’t notice (because we were concentrating on the “coupon,”) was they had upcharged our alcohol from $17 (which we specifically selected for the one glass of wine we ordered) to $25. My bad - I missed that little ploy when I got the “corrected” bill. Was it possible this was an honest mistake? Yes, it could have been, but we left with a “bad taste in our mouth.” My advice: check these coupons carefully upon arrival and get a firm commitment. And always check the alcohol tab - we have been upcharged numerous times at other restaurants in town. I’m disappointed that a fine restaurant such as this have us this negative experience in the first place. If you’re going to charge $70 for a steak, at least get the rest of the experience right. ‘Nuf said.

   It was a quiet Monday night which suited us. We were early and we were taken right to our table. Our food was delicious and promptly served without rushing us. Very nice evening.

   Amazing food, one of the best ribeye steaks I've ever had. Service staff are professional and the best I've had the pleasure of meeting. If you're looking to impress or just have an amazing dining experience look no further.

   Beautiful restaurant with stellar service. The staff was very friendly and professional. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and could not have selected a finer restaurant. The fillets were so tender and juicy being served on a sizzling plate. We had bananas foster prepared table side by our server Olivia. We had a wonderful dinner experience and would highly recommend.

   Mediocrity at its finest. At this price point, there are many better, unfortunately not in Wilmington. New York Prime in Myrtle Beach, Bonnie’s in Raleigh and Rey’s in Cary are much much better at this price point. The Steak and other food was not much better than Chain Steakhouses at popular price as Outback/Texas Roadhouse. You would be much better off elsewhere for this expense

   Daniel is an excellent server. I brought my wife out for a special occasion and after making sure the staff was aware, nothing happened. In years past they brought out a small dessert . Little disappointed as we come here often. We have experienced excellent service and also extremely poor service over the years at the Wilmington location. At both Raleigh and Cary the service is consistent -excellent. When buying gift cards at the holidays I buy Junction 421 because the service there is always great.

   Pleasant evening The “valet guy” told us to go beyond preferred parking in deck for RITH Chris because we parked ourselves. My husband just bought new electric car and wasn’t comfortable letting attendant drive. Guess he was saving close spot for himself as a valet attendant

   Attended the Cakebread wine dinner. It was outstanding! Looking forward to the next wine dinner event. Ruth’s Chris does an excellent job with these dinners, everything from the food pairings, the wine selections, the service, the manner in which guests are seated for the event at smaller group tables,and the ease of making reservations. It makes for a very enjoyable evening of great food and wine. Well done Wilmington NC Ruth’s Chris!

    The place to go for a pre-theater dinner. As usual, Phillip was attentive and got us out in plenty of time. The 18oz pork chop was incredible!!!

    Perfect way to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Our server, Phillip was amazing. It was obvious he was a well seasoned server. He took really good care of us; our drinking glasses were never low, our table was crumb free, and more importantly he had a down to earth personality. We really enjoyed ourselves & will be back soon. Thank you Philip for the amazing service!

    Ruth Chris is a rather pricey steakhouse. For that reason, we do not go there for dinner very often. However, we do go there for my birthday almost every year since we moved to the Wilmington area 17 years ago. Our most recent visit was on March 19th. Our server, Philip was outstanding, my steak was excellent and the atmosphere was very relaxing.

    Our server. Philip, was terrific. We enjoyed all of our dishes, with the exception of the lobster bisque, which was good but not outstanding. Overall, we highly recommend dining here.

    We were a party of 4 who enjoyed our meal. The stuffed mushrooms were very good as was the shrimp cocktail with 4 jumbo shrimp. The Lettuce Wedge salad was very tasty and enough for two to share, however the Romaine Wedge was kind of small when shared. The Cowboy Steak was good and enough for two to share. The waitress said the sides were served family syle however the potatoes augratin was a very small serving and not enough for 4, but the brussel sprouts were a little bigger serving and were tasty, and I don't usually like brussel sprouts. The only thing I didn't like was the way the waitress would come back taking the bottled water and filling two water glasses full, leaving the other two almost empty rather than putting some in each forcing us to order another bottle where it might not have been needed. We stopped her from doing this with the wine as two of us did not want much wine. They provided the birthday girl with a piece of cheesecake.

    We were “inside” but the inside was just the outside patio covered in that thick plastic that was extremely loud anytime the wind blew. Steak was good but honestly nothing special, same with the sides. Spent over 300 dollars and could honestly say an outback meal for the money would have been better.

    Disappointed in our dinner. Lamb chops undercooked and pull of silver skin, so difficult to cut. Food generally lacked seasoning, for instance, no garlic in the garlic mashed potatoes. Crab cake appetizer was quite good. But quality of dinner did not match the price.

    Manger stopped by to visit, server was 100% on point. If you’re in Wilmington go check them out. The location is gorgeous and impeccable service right down to the helpful valet.

    I've been to multiple Ruth Chris and I've never been so disappointed. I took my husband to the one in Wilmington for his birthday last night and it was so bad. The cowboy ribeye was bad and wasn't well done and the lobster Mac and cheese was dry with no flavor . The best thing , well the only thing that was good was the Brussel sprouts. My husband got the stuffed chicken and it was mid . It just wasn't what we are use to . We spent $265 and we left disappointed and unhappy.

    Had reservations yet they Tried to seat us on a porch with plastic sheeting. Didn’t ask if we wanted to be “outside” just walked to it. For an expensive steak house that was a disappointment. One steak was wonderful but soup, And sides were cold. One steak was sent back as overcooked but replacement was wonderful. Excellent complimentary cheesecake for birthday.
