Our waiter Marvin was great, he made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. When we asked him for suggestions he was on the mark. Steak was made as ordered and everything else was delicious.
Restaurant is very large and stylish and in a nice location. However, my steak was over-done and they were out of our first wine selection.
My wife ordered a drink to start and we ordered our steaks - we a bone in NY Strip and our friends a ribeye.
First they brought us a hoagie roll sliced for the table. It was unappetizing and tasteless
Our friends ordered a house salad to share. What came out was something ordinary and certainly not nearly enough for one. My wife and I shared a shrimp cocktail - 4 at best large shrimp not the jumbos that better steak restaaurants serve.
My wife realized that she had still not gotten her drink. It finally came after more requests when our meal was served.
Eventually, the steaks appeared. The one my wife and I ordered looked more like a filet than a strip steak. Took a bite and it was both tasteless and not a strip (no marbling at all) . Our friends could not cut through their ribeye - apparently there was a lot of gristle.
As for the "sides" -the portion "Lyonnaise " potatoes did not look like any we had ever seen and was so paltry it would not have served one . Then the waiter spilled all the liquid from the mushrooms in a big puddle next to my plate. He said "sorry" and walked away.
We called the manager. He apologized for the state of the steaks - noted that my steak might be a strip (it wasn't) and told our friends he was going to "pierce their steak" to release the juices . We convinced him to take both away - and to cover the spill on the table (which he did).
The new steak delivered to my wife and myself was, again, tasteless but, at least, it was a strip steak. We were so hungry that we ate it (we really should have returned it) Our friends tried to cut the second steak and hads the same problem - and could only eat a bite or two. The manager eventually took their steak off the bill.
From the lack of attentiveness or care from the waiter (it took 20 minutes to find him for our bill) and the terrible preparation and quality of food, made us feel like this place was closing and just trying to empty the kitchen
We were asked to arrive15 minutes earlier than our reservation so that we would be assured of leaving on time for theatre which we did
Our drink order wasn’t taken for 20-15 minutes and didn’t arrive for 20 and was incomplete
We ordered got our salad and dinner
The salad arrived 29 minutes later
Needless to say we never got our dinner and left 15 minutes before showtime
Asked for check which never came
Three tables near us had same experience As did friends in another room
We asked to speak to manager who was arrogant and appeared to care less
Left a business card for contacting us
We were never called
Unbelievable for this restaurant

Great food and surroundings
We arrived at 6:00 pm in order to go to the theater at 8:00. The restaurant is very used to this and has never had a problem accommodating this request. This time, for unknown reasons, they could not prepare the food and get it in a timely basis for any of the guests. Many people left without getting served a main course. This was a very unusual experience for this restaurant, however, it was inexcusable. Our dinner arrived just as we were leaving. The manager dealt with it as best he could but many people left without eating including my group.

We had reservations, we didnt get seated till 830, between salad and entree took over an hour. 30 min between appetizer and salad. We were very disappointed in service. They put us in a small table stuck by wall, when i had requested romantic table. We last people to leave , will never be back to this restaurant!. We have to other ruth chris restaurant never have had bad experience, this one was horrible!! Staff did not make you feel welcome for the amount of money you spend there not worth it.
Food and service was outstanding! The GM and hostess go way and above accommodating us!
We had a reservation at 5:45 PM so we could attend the Kravis Center after dinner. We told the waiter we were going to a show, but he was extremely slow. I asked for my steak to be made without butter, and it came on a sizzling plate with butter! We waited over an hour for dinner to be served (it arrived at 7:10 PM), and we had no time for dessert afterward. We asked the waiter to pack up the desserts and some of the food from dinner, but he never brought the package to the table. The waiter was never around when we needed him, and we had to look for the manager in order to get the check and leave for the show. I would not recommend this restaurant at all, but especially not if you are trying to get to a show across the street.

It is truly amazing that this restaurant cannot cook a steak properly. I again ordered my steak medium and for the third time in a row it came out raw. I knew I was in trouble as it did not even have the "famous" sizzle.
On top of it the steak was grizzly. This location is poorly run in the kitchen.
The only reason we come here is because of the events at the Kravis Center. The Regional next door or any other City Place restaurants would be better alternatives. The North Palm location is MUCH better.
Really, Food is your standard steakhouse. Very expensive. My husband and I split a steak, creamed spinach, tomato caprice salad, and French fries and each had a glass of wine. So basically each of us having 1/2 a meal, our bill came to $160 with tip. We go here due to it's proximity to the Kravis center, but unless you are getting a happy hour special in the bar, you are getting an overpriced meal. Popular chain but Nothing exceptional. Service of course was attentive.

We were ten people most of whom had not been to this Ruth’s Chris. We had a private room which was very nice and cut the noise level in the restaurant beautifully. We have eaten there many times and have always been happy but this night it wasn’t the same. My steak was cool and the butter on the plate wasn’t sizzling but just there like a pool of grease. One persons food didn’t come with all the rest because it wasn’t plated right and had to be redone. The waiter seemed very unhappy to be there that night. We were very disappointed with everything . We will be back because we know that the restaurant is usually dry good.

Feel like the restaurant is falling behind....You expect that you will go to a classy place...been here several times...but the patrons just do not seem to respect the restaurant anymore...hats on ...hats on backwards...underwear hanging out...just kinda lost its stature ...dont think will be going back...and yes we have been here several times...and others in other states...getting DUMPY !
Food and service was excellent. We were on the second floor which is a very nice setting. We both had steak which was excellent. I would highly recommend.
Pre-ordered bday cake and left instructions to just serve after meal so there wouldn’t be the awkwardness of trying to order s d make it a surprise. Server still came and asked us to order desserts, when I stated it was already taken care of... the server then proceeded to tell the whole table what was ordered, say they were bringing something “special” for my husbands birthday and then served my husband a different dessert that I didn’t order with the “hbd” written on it instead of the dessert I planned for him and now we had 3 desserts. It was a bit frustrating and ruined the surprise.
Love love love this restaurant, but this time we sent 3 steaks back because they were severely undercooked and cold inside and had to be returned and the rest of us didn't eat at the same time. I know this happens, rarely, but we weren't even offered a free cup of coffee to compensate!!

We were not impressed by the open dining. Not an intimate table in the whole place. The food was basic. The signature drinks were good.
Not good! Food average. Cost astronomical for quality. One glass bar red wine $25 for a short pour.
The food was mediocre at best. All three of us got the RC meal which consisted of a salad, entree, side, and dessert. The salad were delicious, but the rest of the meal was downward from there. The meat was over cooked and lacking in taste for a steakhouse. The waitress convinced us to pay an extra $20 for their “famous” laborer Mac and cheese... which we would’ve preferred instant Craft Mac and cheese to this side—it was bland and definitely not worth of its “fame.” As it was our birthday, they offered us a free dessert on top of the desserts provided with our meals. When we asked for the lava cake as a free desert, the waitress charged us even more for ice cream with it despite asking for our cheesecakes to go which originally came with ice cream. I could’ve gotten a better desert at Applebee’s, and again we were all left disappointed. This will be the last time dining here.

This place stinks! LITERALLY! The food was excellent. The smell was awful. It smells so bad of old people who do not bathe. We actually had to ask the waiter if he smelled it and said we were really sorry to ask but was there any way we could move to a different table. He was very nice and said “oh no, I totally understand. Sometimes you can smell their rotting teeth.” OMG!!! What a shame.
Pre-opera dinner, Salad very good, steak was very good, dessert was awful. The apple pastry was mostly pastry, very little apple, we were very disappointed in dessert.

This is the first time I have had any problem with Ruth's Chris service. It was a problem at the reception desk, not at the table. Our party of six arrived in two cars. The first four were a little early for our reservation and we were seated When the second party had not arrived by the time of the reservation, I returned to the reception desk to give the name of the second party and to ask them to be shown to our table. They never came. Later, at the theatre, I found out that they had been seated at a different level in the restaurant. This was very poor service from the reception desk. They knew we had two people missing, the second couple said they were late and asked to be seated with us when they arrived, and I had alerted the reception desk to expect a late couple. Very disappointing.
My husband and I dine and Ruth’s Chris often and never before at the City Center location and will not be back. Everything was terrible, the restaurant wasn’t busy so don’t understand why there was a delay for everything. We waited for over 30 minutes after being seated for a server, there was a number of items we requested which were never brought after multiple requests. We asked to speak with a manager, and still no one made any effort to apologize or change our terrible experience. Lack of management presence and awful customer service across the board in this location we will not be back and were very disappointed by the way things were handled.
I have been to a few different Ruth Chris’s and I have to say my steak was over cooked. I usually get the petite filet but this trip I opted for the special: filet and lobster tail. It was a thinner steak than the normal filet and over cooked. Also, no sizzling plate that I have become used to. The calamari was wonderful and also the salad.
Proximity to Kravis Center is its only redeeming quality.

Service was a little bit spotty at times but when our waiter was present, he was really nice and informative. Portions are very large and food quality is excellent. I asked for medium rare and to lean toward rare and my filet unfortunately leaned a bit toward medium instead. I failed to say anything as no one came around soon after and I was hungry! We also had a concert to go to. The waiter recommended a fabulous red wine which I’ve already been to the wine store to purchase.
Neither of us cared for the sauce on the Spanish fingerling potatoes so wish I had chosen a different side.
Although I have eaten there many times, before shows at the Kravis Center, this time was very disappointing. My son ordered his steak cooked medium...he had to send it back 3 times because it came out rare...There was no apology or accomodation made...I think management should have taken his meal off the menu...It ruined the experience of the evening for us.
Ate here before a concert at the Kravis. Efficient service got us to the theatre on time! Food was delicious! Will definitely return.
We had a great meal and great service Friday evening prior to the Jason Mraz concert at the Kravis Center. Would highly recommend Ruth Chris -- private room is perfect for a group.
