Ruth's Chris Steak House - West Palm Beach Ratings and Reviews
The food is always good and a nice setting. We waited 15 minutes and not one came to take our drink order. I finally went to the front desk to ask where our waiter was. After that she came over and things we ok from there.
Steaks and apps were great as always as was the wine selection
Overall a great experience, but our steak was a little undercooked. We asked for medium plus, but received it with a red center. Good news is we asked to cook the steak a litttle more and they did so with pleasure.
Server did a great job and the rest of food was great.
Great experience. Unfortunately we had a loud, obnoxious, blow-hard trying to impress those seated at his table (seated in tight seating right next to us) that was so loud and obnoxious, it was hard for us to enjoy our special evening. Other than that, the food and service was excellent!
One word: Delicious! Enjoyed the filet along with twin lobster tails. Scrumptious! Roasted corn as a side was expected to be the usual...so not! Our server was attentive and several others stopped by to make sure everything was up to their standards. Great night. Great service. Great food!
We came for a pre-theatre bite to eat, and we requested seating in the bar, and were able to take advantage of the reduced price happy hour bar menu. The shrimp appetizer was amazing, as was the fluffy crab appetizers, The roast beef sliders were overdone, but by this time, we were very happy with what we had already nibbled on. Service was excellent. We love to treat ourselves to Ruth Chris whenever we visit the Kravis Center.
The staff is always phenomenal! Jeff the manager is amazing. Jose my server and his assistant Theo had the best customer service and were so friendly and went above and beyond to make my evening lovely. Evette at the front is such an amazing greeter. Love Ruth’s Chris. Every time is 5 stars!
First we had to wait 10 minutes past our reservation time, then we were seated at a table in the front lobby where people were coming in and out just feet from the table. We asked to be moved and that table wasn't much better either, next to a column. So we ordered, Andre was very nice, the first hour all we got was a salad. The kitchen was very slow, finally we were served dinner which was good. My favorite part is the doggy bag for later but this time the take home was very stingy, had no turkey in one bowl and 3 little (I mean little) pieces of turkey looked like something from someones plate. My daughter also got no turkey. This might persuade me not to return again for Thanksgiving. Tried Christmas here once and did not like at all, service was slow and steaks weren't that good. Plus you have to pay $8 to park. Bye
The service, from the moment we walked in the door, was beyond poor! The hostess, Jennifer was on the phone as we approached and stayed on the phone for five minutes as we stood there! She The would not seT us in the dining room (only four tables were occupied) because she said she needed to space things out. She was atrocious! She was also wearing a wrinkled tee shirt.....yes a tee shirt!! This is hardly the look a fine dining establishment should have! The general manager new there was a problem and chose to ignore us! How do I know this? He went to every other table to ask how they were doing....not us! Disgusting!
Have been to this Ruth’s Chris many times, even just two weeks ago. Never again!
The restaurant was nice but we had issues from the start shortly after being seated we were ask by another waiter to move to another table that was smaller. Shortly after moving a manger came and apologized for the actions of the waiter explaining that if they seated us at the wrong table it should have been corrected at the front desk and not ask us to move. Manager also offered a free appetizer for the inconvenience along with his apology. When our drinks 🍹 arrived they were watered down very weak we informed the waitress but the second ones were not much better. When our food arrive two orders were incorrect with one of the plates so hot they couldn’t pick it up and it shattered on the serving tray. One order was sent back twice then over cooked. Did receive apologies from two managers who ask if there was anything they could do to make it right. I Would not recommend this restaurant to family or friends sad because we have eaten at several Ruth’s Chris location and never had a problem will go back to Boca next time.
We opted for the Kravitz special for $99. Carrot/Ginger soup or salad, petite filet, and cheesecake with berries. It took a long time for the appetizers to come (almost 15 minutes) and they brought out two soups (where’s my salad?) then another ten minutes to get my salad, compised of llttle scraps of greens. The filets were ordered as medium. One was pink (not medium) and the other was dry and well done. The cheesecake was great! Not worth another visit.
The ONLY reason to go to this restaurant is its proximity to the Kravis Center. They have been open long enough to know that they will be slammed before a show at the theater yet the service just keeps getting worse every time I have been there. On the last visit, two of us ordered a filet mignon with all the seasonings but light on the salt. They brought the steaks to the table and there was absolutely no seasoning or butter on the meat what so ever. It was tasteless. Their excuse was that there was salt in the butter. Remember we did not say no salt but light on the salt. In addition. the server at times was nowhere to be found.
Management at this store does not appear to care about the customer either. A party at the table next to mine got up to leave and we were seated near a door that was a shortcut to the Kravis Center. The gentleman at the table had on a soft cast on his foot and was using a cane to walk. From behind be I heard a very loud voice say "you can't use that door". It was rude and uncalled for. The gentleman did use the door as did my table since one of us had a leg cast on for a broken kneecap.
This store needs a good shakeup in management and service. I hope the corporation takes notice.
Ceasar salad, fillets and creamed spinach were great. Baked potato needed at least 20 more min. in oven. Waitress great at beginnig, then things went downhill. Asked foir butter to soften potato, never got it. Asked for artificial sweetener, finally had to take it off another table. Charged for something ordered, but not received.
Members of our party took advantage to the “2 for $99” complete dinner, but were never given dessert as promised (possibly due to the lack of time as we were attending a show at the Kravis Center) and neither did the waitress offer to compensate us for the lack of dessert. The manager did make such an offer, but it was much too late to take advantage of it. The experience left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth.
To Jeff, the Regional Manager at Winter Park, FL:
My husband and I are now repeated customers at Ruth's Chris WPB. We hope to return in a few weeks when we come back for a Broadway show at the Kravits Center, WPB.
Service is really great at this location!
