   This was my first dining experience at Ruth Chris and I must say. I was surprisingly impressed. I have heard all types of reviews. Good and bad. But for me I had a great experience and the food was great. Definitely will be dining there again.

   It’s always a great beautiful time. One of the servers did ask my dad who is a disabled veteran to remove his hat, prior to getting a chance to remove it. Allow us to enter into the dining area first. In addition, his injury was to his head, he suffers from PTSD. Servers be mindful of your approach you never know what your guests have experienced! Other than that, the restaurant is always perfect!

    Everytime I go there I have an amazing time. Everything is amazing asf far as service, food and cleanliness of the restaurant. But my last time going their 6/1/23 our waiter went out his way to tell us the price of everything we wants as if we couldn’t afford it or read it . The only thing that should have been told to us is the price of the special which was the 40oz tomahawk steak. Even though we didn’t ask; also our sliver wear was very dirty this time around & so was the special knives they gave us for ordering the tomahawk and the T-bone steak. But other than that it was amazing. I wish it was like the rest of the times I we went but we still had a great time.

    We loved the salads and the steaks were excellent. We thought the side of scalloped potatoes were boring and not very tasty at all. We would have preferred our steaks on a clean plate and floating in butter.

    Always a 10/10 experience. I’ve been about 20 times at least, especially when they use to serve their tomahawk steaks, now I enjoy the crab cakes, lobster Mac & their cowboy ribeye. Better than Morton’s or any other “steak” house I’ve been too and I try em all multiple times to be sure if my taste. From San Diego, to Hawaii to Virginia, Ruth Chris has never failed me.     Excellent service. Definitely the gold standard. Had steak and lobster. Lobster was awesome, steak was very good. Just slightly over cooked. Should have added the bearnaise sauce! The potatoes Au Gratin was not to our liking, should have used a different cheese combo and cut potatoes in slices instead of chunks. Creamed spinach was excellent. Brussels were not great- over cooked and seemed to be missing something-actually sent back. Bread was excellent. The Cesar salad was excellent. Overall expected better from the sides. Almost like the third string was trying out recipes. Will definitely return , just be more selective on the sides.

    We look forward to celebrating our wedding anniversary at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse every year. This was our 49th wedding anniversary. Even when we could not get a reservation three years ago here in Virginia Beach our daughter in South Carolina got us a reservation in Columbia where we enjoyed our usual celebratory meal. Our server Mike could not have been better. We look forward to our 50th next year at Ruth's Chris.

    Our first time here. It was an awesome experience. Tony our server and was awesome. Food was phenomenal. The servings were much larger than most restaurants. Steaks were so tender and delicious. It is well worth the extra money. This is a high end restaurant and it did not disappoint.

    Our overall experience was exceptional.. The staff was top notch, engaging and offering wonderful suggestions we took advantage of. We appreciated how the staff took the time to get to know us to make our experience personable. My only issue during dinner, was my lobster bisque came late to the table. Even our server, Mike (request him !!! He’s awesome) was not happy. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides were irresistible. The restaurant’s atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable and completed our date night, thank you !!!

    I took my husband to celebrate our anniversary. He absolutely loves Ruth Chris! However this time was not pleasing. For the price of the food the jumbo shrimp were reduced in size as was the calamari which I sent back twice because it was over cooked and chewy. The server was great but unfortunately my meal was not. If your having steak you maybe ok my husband didn’t seem to have issues with that.
