Over all we like Ruth Chris steak house and we normally go to the Orlando one. We went here for my son's birthday it was late around 10 at night after going to the parks for the day. The service did not seem as attentive as when we go to Orlando we sat a while for service, between courses they did not seem to come check on us or clean down the table like normal. When we go to Orlando they are coming by all the time seeing if we need anything or cleaning off the table etc... I asked about my son Birthday they did bring out a bowl of ice cream and then asked if we wanted anything else I asked for a desert menu but instead they just named off what was on the menu. My wife is gluten free as well and when asking about the berries and cream was told the cream may have gluten sorry but why would cream have gluten to thicken it as flower in cream would seem odd to me as cream is thick already. I don't like to complain but @400 for a meal I kind of expect better service.
Great food, would definitely go back. The service was awesome .
Tomahawk ribeye was awesome. Great service and fabulous steaks.
Excellent service and food.
Todo estuvo muy agradable. Los meseros muy amables
Great service provided by Andres! The filet is consistent, order the mushrooms as an accompaniment.
We have at Ruth's Chris for over a decade and Andres was by far the best ever!
Service is Always great! Dinner was delicious! The bone in filet was perfect! Love the live music!!
My husbands birthday
The food was good. The restaurant was clean. It just wasn’t the experience I expected. The food wasn’t as good as all of my friends hyped it up to be, and at 140 for two entrees with no drinks or appetizers I was expecting to be blown away by the flavor. I don’t honestly know that I’ll end up going back. It was our 4 year anniversary and they didn’t even offer a celebratory cupcake or something. Seems like it’s a restaurant charging 2x what they should because they can, not because they should.
As always it was perfect. Great food and service.
We were told after ordering, the kitchen staff was very short handed. It took 1.5 hrs after being seated to finally get our entree. The filet and ribeye was very good, no complaints there. Our complaint is we were not told there would be an up charge for a different side dish and dessert other than what was on the dinner special. Our waiter said we could choose anything we wanted. The waiter was open and apologetic about all the delays but charged us for a lemonade refill. Maybe I’m being petty but it seems like some compensation should have been made for us after waiting so very long for our food.
We can’t say enough good things about the bar staff at your restaurant! Chris, Pat, John, Jason and Tony always make our dinner more enjoyable!
The petite filet - perfection! The Au Gratin potatoes - best I’ve found. The service was as expected - timely yet not intrusive. The ambiance and lighting in the back west side dining area was too bright and tightly packed - but not uncomfortable. Exceeds Capital Grille nearly every category.
We've dined at this Ruth Chris's site a few times. This evening, three of our guests' steaks were undercooked, which is unusual for any Ruth Chris's restaurant. My rib eye was tough and tasteless. Service was good but not attentive. The background piano music was a great touch and we all commented how lovely it was. Not so the later rock music which was too loud and made conversation difficult. We've dined many times at many of your restaurants across the country. Always a special evening.
It was my birthday
So disappointing. Was really looking forward to eating here for our daughters birthday. Had reservations but our table was literally 5 feet from the piano. Nice music but really challenging to have a conversation. Meal started off with calamari appetizer which was good but went downhill after that. Had to send French onion soup back as it wasn’t good. Steaks were either over or under cooked. All ordered medium but some were rare and others well done. Had to send steak back. Service was a whole different issue. Server nice but took forever to get our food as our server was covering our table in one room and a large banquet in another room. Had to get the hostess to get our server 3 times. Unacceptable. Should have listened to the irate customer when we walked in who warned us “ save your money! Go someplace else”.
Horrible experience. From the moment we walked in, a comedy of errors. If I could give negative stars, I would. Rude, bad food, missed orders, condescending wait staff and manager.
Steaks always outstanding at Ruth’s Chris and service impeccable as always
Everything was great! My wife’s steak was a little undercooked for medium well, but the server was attentive and addressed it immediately. It was our first time going and we will definitely be back. The white chocolate bread pudding was amazing 😋
Love Ruth Chris!! You have to get the Cheesecake and you must have Chris be your waiter! He is a ROCKSTAR!
paid over $400 for four people which is not unusual for this type of restaurant but felt like I was eating at a Golden corral steakhouse. I had a client and his wife in town for a business meeting they stuck us next to the bar in a small little room and were seating people in basically T-shirts and shorts look like they just came off the beach. When I called the next day and talk to the manager he basically told me that’s the way it was well I’ll tell him I’ll never be back burns is the only way to go if you’re going to pay that much money I do expect the ambience
Excellent service from Ramsey our waiter. Pleasant, friendly and knowlegable. Quick service, and THE BEST STEAK EVER! Quiet ambiance added to the experience. We will be back soon. Thank you so much for this most excellent restaurant!
Was a wonderful experience. Service was excellent.
Took grandson and his girlfriend out for a delicious meal . College age students and they were very impressed by the scrumptious food and drinks . Lamb was amazing , steaks were perfect seasoned and cooked to perfection . A wonderful time
Excellent meal & service. Perfect for a special occasion.
The food was not good and the service was terrible. Never going again
Knew what this place was all about - and have spent more money on a meal for just 2 people (this was for 4) .......
But for the money, just doesn’t make sense.
Greats - the bread, the service, the arugula salad
Goods - the sides, the ribeye, the local IPA
Fairs - Filet, the cocktail
Poors - how huge the bill was for this good meal in a very non-descript establishment
Overall we had a great experience. The filet's and wine were awesome! Our waiter was not real attentive.
Fantastic steaks and a wonderful service. A bit pricy but worth it for a special night out.
This was my wife's and my first visit to this particular Ruth's Chris, although we've eaten at many others. Ruth's Chris is, without a doubt, one of the absolute best "chain" restaurants. After eating at one, you know what to expect from others, and rarely would you be disappointed. Such was the case for our dinner at this Ruth's Chris. We did have a few minor complaints, however, one of which was the fact that we were seated in the bar dining area which was bright and very noisy. Our food was tasty, as usual, although our steaks were, oddly enough, both over-done for medium and under-done for medium rare. However, we didn't mention it because neither was inedible. Unfortunately, as is the case at nearly every higher-end restaurant, wine bottle prices were terribly inflated. It's such a disappointment to want to enjoy a nice bottle of wine to complement the food and the mood, knowing that you're having to pay at least two and a half or three times a normal retail cost. It just doesn't have to be that way folks. We can't understand why profits from wine sales can't be accomplished with volume as opposed to ridiculous pricing. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our evening meal at this Ruth's Chris and would recommend it, particularly if you have the option of being seated in the main dining room.
Our waitress was nothing but superb
Great food, good service and great ambiance. It was our anniversary but the waiter didn’t even tell us happy anniversary. $300 later and we still tipped well. Must be this location because the location close to home is a little bit more upscale.
We will be back, however the prior visits were what would be expected at the restaurant level. This last visit. Delayed due to not finding my reservation. I had my confirmation email thank goodness but still plenty of "I dont understand" from front desk. Food was excellent!! As always. Serving staff (3 of them) could not be found, refill of coffee is cold my husband drank it cause they never checked on us, 3rd cup of coffee cold and I had to wave her down after several minutes. Staff would say they would come back with coffee and water refills but never did and my daughter ended up drinking my water. Over 20 minute wait for our dessert. Server walked up and saw we still did not have them and turned around without saying a word. I assume she went to find them. It was not busy at all. I was not impressed at all with the service. I hope our next visit will be better. Thank you Cissy May.
It was a wonderful experience, as usual!!!.....Many Thanks!!
First-time visit. In comparison to other steakhouses, I found this one to be average. I could have asked for the same cut of steak at the Outback and received what I was served. For being medium rare, the steak was not tender and underseasoned. My spouse was fine with her fish. The lobster mac & cheese, mushrooms with crab meat, and service was great. For me, given what is available in the region around the same price range, I can't say that I will make it a point to return.
The service was great, So I just ate my meal and figured that I'd write a review later.
I was pretty disappointed with my steak.
It was under seasoned( by a long shot) and pretty tough.
The rest of the meal was good, it's just that when you have steak in the name of your restaurant it should be the star. My wife felt the a same way about hers.
They had a Surf and Turf ( Valentines Day Special) that is what we got, Sounded good.
The steak felt like it was a cheap cut for the special... Not the Quality that I had expected from Ruth's..
I made the reservations at least six weeks earlier. My wife and I always prefer a booth as it is more comfortable for her to hear me if we sit next to each other. In spite of doing so we were given a 2 person folding table near a wall and no other options. There were at least two booths that were empty around us. This made a less special evening. I will probably go back but this was not our best experience at this restaurant.
Food was fabulous and our waiter Wayne was the very best!
This was one of the best meals my husband and I have ever had. We eat out quite often, but nothing compared to this meal. The server was amazing and very knowledgeable. The seafood tower was absolutely amazing and then we shared the steak & two lobster meal. Every bite was delicious. Will definitely be back and will tell everyone I know they must go!!
