    Our server, Linda, was attentive, yet not overbearing, thorough, and warm. Everything was correct with our order, and our meals were delicious, as expected. If in Tampa again, we'd definitely request Linda. Her demeanor was calm and smooth. She's an excellent server.

    My first visit to Ruth’s Chris. It was a great experience. I took my fiancé there for her birthday ( her first visit as well). A truly enjoyable experience and one we will repeat for special occasions.

    Was there to celebrate our wedding anniversary with my wife. Everything started out fine initially. Bread and drinks were brought out in a timely manner. Our order was taken, our soup & salad, and main courses all arrived correct and fairly quickly. the food was very good. At that point all service seemed to stop and my wife an I felt that we were no longer even noticed by the staff. There was a fairly large party next to us and it seemed that all of the servers were only focused on catering to that party. We were no longer checked on. Our glasses of water remained empty for the last 40 minutes of our stay with no offer to refill them. When the staff were clearing the appetizer dishes from the adjacent party, a silver dish fell on the floor next to me and stayed there till after we left. the worst part is that it took at least 40 minutes or so for our desert to come out, AND even worse, we could see where it was sitting on a tray just outside of the dining area we were sitting in. My wife even went to the restroom and saw it just sitting there (with people continually walking by. It was still just sitting there when she came back AND it still took another 10 minutes or so before someone brought it to us. All the while, the staff that had initially waited on us were continually in and out of the dining area attending to the other tables, but we were just invisible to them. Absolutely horrible service and experience.

    One of the best experiences I’ve had eating out! The food was delicious from the very beginning to the end, but highly recommend anybody to eat here will be coming back. Karolina was by far the icing on the cake as a superb server! 5 stars all the way!

    Celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary. Our server Julian and staff were excellent! Our meal consisted of crabmeat stuffed mushrooms, a wedge salad, baked potato, the cremini mushrooms which were excellent, a boneless ribeye steak cooked medium rare and bone-in New York strip cooked Pittsburgh medium rare. The steaks were outstanding cooked perfectly. They actually stayed warm the entire time due to the cooking process and the plates served hot! We also received a complimentary dessert for our anniversary! The crème brûlée which was delicious. We will definitely return to this restaurant.

    I will come back again. The steak was great! To my taste, the temperature of my steak was a bit more rarer than my “medium rare” request. Overall, great place and great service indeed.

    Ruth’s Chris 20 years ago vs today are VERY different. It used to be a high class evening out. Now I feel like it’s just another steakhouse. The steaks were under seasoned and my filet was a bit chewy. The lobster tail was over cooked. My creamed spinach tasted off, so I sent it back and they offered me any other side (I’m guessing all the spinach was bad). The sweet potatoes were good, but more like dessert. I don’t think it was a terrible experience, but for the money we spent on a table of four, it was lacking.

    I have always loved the option of the pre-fix menu option, however, the option for just a plain steak is no longer available. Both options available contain seafood and I cannot have shellfish. Please bring back just the plain steak option, please!! Thank you!!

    Waiter very attentive, then disappeared for an extended period of time. 20mins at least, which is not ok. Sent husbands (bday boy) steak back it was so rare and he ordered medium. Food was delicious but service was awful, especially celebrating my husbands bday.

    Quality and quantity were amazing. The fleet was one of the best I ever had . The side ( lobster Mac & cheese ) was by far the best I’ve ever had and more than shareable . Service was impeccable.

    we went in celebration of our 52nd anniversary. Ive recently wondered what a $50 steak would taste like and that give a reason to try. Anniversaries are very important and a time to "save-up" and splurge. It was really good! $50 is different to people so you have to decide for your self. we both got the special.

    Problems with the valet parking attendant he was rude. The maître d’/hostess as soon as you walked in were asking you to remove your hat. This is not a universal policy throughout their chain of restaurants.

    Our server (bartender) Ramsey was very good. Now the food was another issue. First, the bread we were initially served with was STALE. I mean STALE-STALE as everyone in our group agreed with. We were then brought out fresh bread. Next, two persons in our party ordered lobster bisque that had zero pieces of lobster in it. Next, my Chilean Sea Bass was served the complete opposite of how I ordered it. Ramsey noticed it as soon as he placed it in front of me. So for the next 15 minutes I picked on my baked potato as others began to eat their entrees. Another person in our group ordered lobster that was over cooked and salty. They replaced it with more rubber lobster. Sent that back as well. Another person in our group was celebrating a birthday. We were told that the person could have a FREE crème brûlée. Well, at the end they charged us until we noticed it on the bill and had to have it reversed. Also, after two rubber lobsters that were sent back, they charged for that as well until it was noticed on the bill. That was eventually removed as well. Not a good evening at Ruth Cris Tampa.

    This, Ruth Chris location is our go to restaurant for special occasions, they never disappoint; and will attend to any special requests for any occasion. The food was outstanding, and service was amazing. Our server, Julian made us feel right at home; provided an outstanding meal experience!     This was our first time with Ruth's Chris. Overall, the service was very good. I ordered the Tomahawk Steak to share. I am not sure the way our steak was cut and presented is typical, but we were very disappointed by the presentation. The steak was cut into several different size pieces and all were simply dumped together on a small dinner plate. Other area steak houses we have visited always slice the steak into strips and serve the entire cute on a plat. This was a $145 steak and definitely not worth the price. Based on that, we are not at all sure we will go back.

    Celebrating my wife’s birthday. Her salad had many bad pieces, rusty looking must have been old. Lobster bisque good, little buttery. Crab cakes were great. Steaks great! Garlic mashed potatoes, find another premade product, there were not real potatoes. They were soupy, tasteless, looked like grits and tasted similar. We had 5 Bowles, one for each meal, almost all sent to the trash. Other sides mushrooms were good, Brussels sprouts greasy, hard and lacking flavor. Grilled asparagus, also oily, lacking in flavor. Had a crème brûlée, one of the best we ever had. Great service but may never go back.
