    Great location just across the street from the gateway arch. They rushed us and tried to serve our steaks while we were eating our appetizers. We sent the food back and they re-served it over-cooked at the appropriate time.  The “Oscar” side crab meat was disappointing.

    The service was very good our waitstaff was very attentive. The food was fine a little too salty. My one concern was it was very cold in the restaurant, despite wearing a sweater I was very cold

    Everyone, from the hostesses, to our server, Joshua, to a manager, Austin, made sure we were welcome and well taken care of. It was our 6th wedding anniversary and all staff acknowledged our celebration. Our meals were excellent. The surprise desert was a welcome treat, although we were stuffed. Even though our florist delivered a recreation of our wedding flowers, the hostess also spread rose pedals on our table. That, and all the other little attentions to detail, made our night truly special. Thank you. John and Kevin

    First, Killian had to be one of the best waiters I’ve ever had. The food was okay, and it was corrected a few times. It was also under construction and it felt like we were eating in a conference room.

    Cool & classy ambience, great food, excellent service from Lea. It’s a bit expensive - three sides were the price of another entree - but what you get is superb. Overall a great experience and a fabulous place!

    My husband and I ate dinner here before a Cardinals baseball game. The food was amazing. Killian provided excellent service. We will definitely eat her next time we are in St Louis.

    We had our 5 year anniversary dinner here. This was our first time here. As soon as we arrived we were greeted and told Happy Anniversary. They had rose petals on the table and the service was outstanding. Our dinner was melt in your mouth perfect. We will be back for sure.

    The event was a wine pairing dinner. The restaurant was undergoing major renovations and diners were escorted through a maze or dark areas under construction to the dining area. The customers SHOULD have been told about that when the offer of the wine-pairing dinner was made. Customers should also have been told that seating would be four people to a table- dining with strangers CAN be OK as it was that evening, but I prefer not to dine with people I don’t know. The acoustics in the dining room were not good and I had trouble hearing the recorded video presentation concerning the different types of wine that were being offered. Lack of window coverings allowed glaring light to come through the windows into what should have been a more subdued atmosphere - especially when the street light came on right outside the window.     We were celebrating a graduation and it was the perfect place to dine. Our server was most gracious, friendly, and attentive and made a perfect meal even more elevated. The wine, steaks, and bread pudding were all fabulous! It was certainly a 5 star celebration all around!

    The restaurant is definitely in need of a refresh. It felt stale. Not like a special occasion. We were seated right by the stairs and in the bar area. It was the worst table in the dining room. There were plenty of open tables. Our reservation was for a group of 6 at 6:45. We did not order appetizers, however we did order a round of drinks, a bottle of wine and a bottle of champagne, to celebrate a graduation in our family. It took quite a long time for our food order to be taken and even longer for our orders to be brought to the table. It arrived around 8:20. Obviously not the fault of the waitress. When the food arrived, most of our orders were cooked as requested. A couple were not. Alas. We’ve dined at several Ruth Chris locations. This one needs to step it up.

    AMAZING! Our waiter was calm and excellent at his job. He made us laugh and what impressed me the most was that he didn’t even need to write our orders down. I haven’t seen that often, especially at high end restaurants (ZERO disrespect to other servers). Well with every penny. Everyone should come to Ruth Chris at least once!

    Perfect place for a night out. Lighting was perfect, music was very relaxing, our waiter Kilion was AMAZING…… oh, and the best steak I might have ever had. We will be back

    First rate all the way. All of the staff were phenomenal at customer service and made us feel like we were their only customers. We were in the private dining room and it was lovely and quiet and intimate. The food was delicious and prepared perfectly. And, thank you to Charles and Joseph for making my birthday special. At the end of the meal they brought us the cutest cheesecake ever, with a lit candle and a plate that said happy birthday. Not only was it cute (and looked a little like Olaf), it was an exceptionally delicious cheesecake! It made my day and I would recommend this specific location in St Louis to anyone!

    The booth that we were seated at had a PILE of trash under the table and food stuck to the wall. The wait staff didn't know to bring a tea spoon for stirring my iced tea. Music was Dean Martin played a little to loud. Ok with the artist just too much volume. Floors were cracked and damaged Mens Bathroom had blood splatter on one wall, only one faucet of the two worked. Womens bathroom had hair on the stairs. We had a hard time getting a reservation, although there were only about 12 people in the restaurant. Other patrons were allowed to bring in a box of Wal-Mart cupcakes even though they didn't even order a meal. I fully expected to see mature wait staff, not young staff working there way up. But they were making a good effort. No dress code enforced for a restaurant of this caliber

    Ruth Chris St. Louis did not disappoint. The tuna was an excellent appetizer, followed by an amazing bone-in filet. I would highly recommend Ruth Chris if your travels take you to St. Louis.

    Matt did an awesome job helping us out. It was my girlfriend's first time there. We had more than enough to take home. Food was great just ended up being full about halway through. Coming back sooner than later next time we travel from Carbondale to Stl.
