Gumbo and bisque were tasty! Crab cakes were as well. Steak (filet and a ribeye) were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Shrimp that came with filet was a little dry. Mashed potatoes were good but the Brussels sprouts were a tad crunchy (they were awesome reheated). Crème brûlée was very good and so was the bread pudding. Carrot cake we took home was tasty as well. The coffee first came out well flavored but temperature was on the warm, not hot. Second cup took a while and when it did was perfectly hot but had a burnt bean taste to it that ruined the pallet for the evening - we were done eating at that point so it was a minor issue. Waiter was pleasant.

The experience was great as usual. The seafood tower was pricey for the quality of the seafood. The crab and lobster had a rubber texture as if it had been frozen or frost bitten. The service and staff was excellent all the way around. It was a wonderful experience.

We dined on the patio which was great. Not as stuffy as the main dining room but quieter than the bar. Food was good as usual. My wife's filet was over done. Server must have been busy in the bar area because she was slow to attend on a couple occasions.

We reserved a table for 6 for Thanksgiving Dinner. Our expectation was to have a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with a price point of $60 per person. Upon arrival, we were told that they didn’t have anymore Thanksgiving Dinners available and we would have to select from their normal menu. Since we were now locked into eating there, we were at the mercy of having only steaks for dinner. $600 later our dinner was finished and I left disappointed. Our food consisted of steaks for 6, 6 sides, 2 appetizers, 2 desserts, and 2 adult beverages. I know this is a high end place but our experience was not good nor enjoyable. The cherry on top was that the server was a bit sarcastic to some of my family.

We were disappointed that we made reservations on Thanksgiving looking forward to the Turkey dinner that was advertised and then they ran out of the Turkey dinners and we weren’t offered any compensation. I think our waiter may have been new?

We didn’t choose from the holiday menu this year. We love the steak and chops with seafood appetizers. The Caesar salad was delicious and fresh. The grilled asparagus was perfectly grilled with just enough crisp. The DR Riesling was the exact dryness for our chocolate bourbon pie companion. Ruth’s Chris is still our favorite restaurant and we recommend it for everyone. Our server was wonderful and the atmosphere was amazing.

The food was not good as it used to be. My steak was rare after I asked for it to be medium. It came back out and was the same and smelled like grease. If you’re spending that much on food, it should be perfect or close to it. We didn’t even get asked if the amount get be updated or if it could be made better. Super disappointed.

We had not enjoyed a dinner date in nearly 3 years since a Covid infection made me unable to eat most foods and even scratch kitchens and health food establishments have not been able to accommodate the safety restrictions. We came for our anniversary, expecting the same, maybe I could eat a plain baked potato and my spouse would enjoy an incredible meal but feel bad for me the whole time. When we arrived, we were offered a lovely private booth for our celebration. That was a special treat helping me start out feeling more myself and less like an out-of-place invalid. But to our delight and surprise the wonderful waitress, Kaitlyn, did not make things awkward as we’d experienced so many times attempting to dine out. She simply checked with the chef who was able to make a real meal for me, even including a divine DESSERT! It was a REAL celebration for us, and we won’t forget!

The food and service was the best. They were very attentive and our glasses were kept full. Reggie was an awesome server. Obviously expensive but well worth it for the occasion. Would go again!
