We normally visit the Bellevue location, but we like the environment better at the Seattle location. Our experience wasn’t the best, the food wasn’t as good as Bellevue. Both our steaks were cooked wrong, I had mine sent back and left my boyfriend eating alone as I waited for my steak. Probably wouldn’t be back to this location.
Four words: highest quality, ridiculously expensive

Came here for our wedding anniversary dinner. Had reservations for weeks. Was seated in a booth that had rose petals on the table which was very nice. Once we sat down, it took at least 10 minutes to be greeted by our waitress for a beverage. This is how the night began and end. The way she acted is like she would rather be somewhere else. Extremely poor service. We waited an unusual time between drinks, appetizers, main entrees. By the end we were just so irritated that we passed on dessert. We were also very disappointed with our food. Ordered the lobster mac n cheese. The lobster had no taste to it whatsoever. Our steaks tasted average. Overall disappointed with our experience and won't be back to Ruth's Chris.
Terrific service, nice ambience and most importantly superb delicious food.
Ask for Simon. Great service and perfect experience, as always.
Great steaks, as it should be. But great, nevertheless. Our server, Dallas, was excellent -- great service with a casual, approachable attitude that made us feel comfortable and at ease. He also had some great suggestions on the menu.
The service is perfect and the taste experience is awesome!
Great steak and nice service
Excellent, first time dining at Ruth’s Chris and everything was great. The food was amazing!
We had an amazing evening! The food was amazing !! The staff was exceptional and very knowledgeable. Emily is an amazing knowledgeable sever !!
Generally good. Main course was served way to quick.
Kevin, our server, was outstanding. All the staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Food was cooked to perfection. Definitely a great place to go.
I was entertaining staff that night and met Josh (our waiter) for the first time that night, and his suggestions, Service and attitude were Impeccable!
The restaurant was well located and had a great menu, great food, and if Josh is representative of the rest of their staff, it’s a Great evening.
Awesome steak and best I have had in a restaurant since leaving Texas 1979. Thanks
This has been a family favorite for a long time so my review comments are just based on my last visit. Had a reservation for 7:30. Arrived and they said it would be 10 or so minutes. We said we would be 15 feet away in the bar. After 25 minutes asked about how much longer and the response was “we thought you were already seated”. Strike 1. Open tables everywhere and they still took 5 more minutes to seat us. Strike 2. Brought a bottle of wine and had to remind the server twice that we wanted it with dinner. Didn’t come back until we were halfway through our steaks. Strike 3. Like I said before this place has been outstanding every other time we have been here and we even stayed loyal when they moved from the old location. I hope this last experience is not what we have to deal with the next time. I’m still a loyal fan. Just use these comments as a training opportunity.
I’ve eaten at Ruth Chris in lots of metropolitan areas, and usually my experience is excellent. As usual, the food and service was exceptional, but our table location was next to the trash door. I realize that someone will get that table, but if you make a reservation at Ruth Chris in Seattle, be aware of my experience.......the bill/tip still was nearly $500.
Went to Ruth's Chris for a pre-theater dinner. I highly recommend the Classic menu which includes an three courses for a value price. I had the 6 oz filet and it was perfection! The setting is elegant and the service superb! Happy house is a real bargain as well. I hardily recommend the prime rib sliders.
We were celebrating my birthday with a pre- Hamilton theatre dinner. It was an absolutely wonderful evening - we dined early as the play began at 7:30. The food was perfectly prepared and presented.
Great, attentive service and amazing food! Made sure we were out in time for our play.
We eat at Ruth Chris all over the country. Food is always top. The Seattle one lacks management. Waiters were great, hostesses very bad. Repeated rules like robots. Very arrogant. We don't usually experience this at other Ruth Chris.
First time to this Ruth Chris, everything was wonderful. Service and food was amazing. Favorite was the white chocolate bread pudding— fantastic!! Only thing I would have changed was to have a booth for seating.
Very nice, the food was excellent and the service was also very good.
Excellent meal, as always! The steak looks, tastes and smells wonderful. The service is always attentive and you never feel rushed.
We had dinner before the Theater. Everything was delicious - petite filet, sweet potato casserole, broccoli, berries with sweet cream for dessert (shared - perfect). Pink grapefruit greyhound handcrafted cocktail was lovely. We will return.
Overall experience was good however but the food was not quite up to what I've had at other Ruth Chris restaurants. Our server was excellent.
Amazing steaks, what else is there to say?
Great food, great service. You pay a little more but the food is very good. I highly recommend the Lobster Bisque!
Great food and service- especially appreciate the table being held a bit as we made our reservation a bit early for the end of the theatre and it was a busy evening!
Service beyond bad. We felt like we were an inconvenience to the server. We eat a lot at Bellevue Ruth’s and this was like a different restaurant. Steak was soft and mushy, food took way to long to arrive. All in all a very bad experience.
We go to Ruth's whenever we get a chance. They are usually very efficient and good. It was so again this time. We had filet mignon. It was tasty and the service kind, prompt. The sides were were good. WE had wine by the glass and enjoyed it.
Best people watching in Seattle! Food was superb as always. Ahi tuna was especially good
Our meal took over 30 minutes to arrive at the table. One was totally overlooked and to be returned but never made it to the table while we were eating and had to be boxed up to go
I absolutely loved this place. The scenery was immaculate. The people were amazing. I haven’t Found a better Tomahawk steak yet. A1
My husband and I dined here on Valentine's Day. And while was the middle of the week, the restaurant was a busy place. Typically when dining here, we are seated upstairs in the main dining area, however our host took us downstairs. I was a little hesitant, but considering I made the reservation in advanced I hope we weren't put in a corner and forgot about. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at our table, it was in a wine cellar room with many other tables. It was a better environment for us to talk and dine comfortably. The food was all delicious. I highly recommend leaving room for any of the desserts!
Loved everything about our meal except that our steak while tasting very good, was on the chewy side. Service was outstanding!
Wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner prior to a night at the theatre Josh our waiter was very helpful in his suggestions and in the presentation of our dinner we didn’t feel rushed
The food was superb
We went there for Valentine's dinner, and it was such a smart choice! The steaks are the BEST, and the salad was also surprising! Love Ruth!
Great food, I got the petite ribeye and It literally melted in my mouth! Very scrumptious and good desserts!
