Food excellent. Service started off great but after entrees served waiter and bus boy disappeared and we sat with dirty dishes and no service for over half an hour after we finished. We were all passing out and after we finally tackled the waiter we were too tired to have desert. Really don’t understand how waiter just ignores a table for nearly 40 minutes, not that busy at 930 but he just disappered
I ordered the Chilean sea bass and my husband ordered lamb chops. The sea bass tasted like it was not fresh and was over cooked/not flaky and the lamb chops were not cooked to order. Our waiter was very attentive to another table that was ordering a bit of alcohol and only quickly stopped by our table to say, 'is everything okay?" and then was gone. We were not impressed.
Had a great table in main room , booth, best spot in the dining room. Our waitress was wonderful and very thoughtful and always checking without being too obtrusive. Made for a very nice evening !
Service was good, not excellent, which is what it usually is. Waitress did not mention specials "classics" which is such a good deal.
It’s been years since I’ve been back to Ruth’s Chris Steak House, the last time I went was at the Camelback location, so that was along time ago. But I’ve been looking for a good reason to eat at the Scottsdale one, so on our anniversary we went on a Thursday night and it was busy. But I felt because we were a young couple they looked passed us thinking we were not their typical clientele so we weren’t treated as well. Money talks, especially when it’s a high end steak house. I didn’t think we were cheap, for two people we spent well over $300, but even then, the server and managers thought it was better to cater to the older more wealthy customers enjoying their salad and water. But hey, to each their own. Maybe when I age a little more and look like I have money I’ll be treated better at this establishment. Over the food was just as good as I remembered, but I can’t say the same for the management and service.
Great service & food
Not as good as other Ruth Chris' I've been to but OK. The service was great, the steak was very good but the baked potato came out cold (told the server and they took it off the bill) and the creamed spinach did not come out with the meal and was warm but turned cold quickly once on the table. Not the best Ruth Chris experience I've had -- just okay
Great dinner as always!
First time there and the food was terrific!! Will go back!!
The food was okay this time around. It wasn’t as tasteful as previous visits. Our a server was a bit frustrated and felt as if he was was having a bad day.
Reservation request misread and not honored.
Steak was very salty.
Service was excellent.
View was of strip mall parking lot.
What a great date and the waitress was phenomenal second only to the quality of food served. Definitely worth the price for special occasions and I’ll for sure be going back.
We've dined at this Ruth's Chris location many times, usually celebrating a special occasion. This last visit (3/9) did not live up to our expectations. We received an incorrect side dish, and my entree, a ribeye, was not as well prepared as usual. The service was also very slow. We love this restaurant, and we'll return for another try, but, for the money, they better improve, or we'll go elsewhere.
Impeccable service. Nice quiet section of the restaurant. As always, perfectly prepared steaks and sides.
Our steaks were cooked to perfection. Cocktails and wine were excellent. We were seated promptly for our reservation at a a table with a nice view. A pleasurable dining experience.
Yet another delicious dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. It's definitely my favorite steakhouse and I'm always looking for an occasion to go there. Highly recommended!
I have eaten at this Ruth's Chris for Five consecutive years while out to Phoenix, AZ for Spring Training Vacation. Always great and consistent !
Our Server Kate was bubbly and energetic and she did a great job !
Great service. Good food. Nice to be in a steakhouse that has large windows and sunshine pouring in rather than the typical dark environment.
My filet and shrimp were delicious as was my husband's salmon. We were celebrating an anniversary and they made it extra special with great service and a creme brulee dessert.
We have enjoyed Ruth Chris across the nation and look forward to it each time. Typically they each have their own character. But I am sorry to say that our recent dining experience was less than our expectations. We were sat across from the waiter station right as your are coming into the dining area. The salads were very sloppy with no flavor. When the broccoli came it was rock hard and cold. Basically it was not steamed. I sent it back and it came back the exact same way. The baked potato was also cold. The filet had little flavor. They did not refill our water. I guess they must of had a bad night.
Always consistent and very good! Portions are big enough for 2 and always very tasty.
Loved the happy hour appetizer menu items and the ambiance
Very friendly personable staff, Heather was a very attentive manager, Jason was an outstanding server! Friday night was extremely busy, and although we had a reservation for 7pm, it took about twenty minutes to be seated. We were given a complimentary appetizer, which was a nice touch. Food was excellent as always, though the steaks didn’t “sizzle” like they did in the past. We weren’t rushed and stayed nearly two hours, had a very enjoyable evening and would definitely come back in the future.
We weren’t rushed, great service. My steak was not as good as the times before and neither was my husband’s. Hopefully just an off night.
Food is the highest quality ever. People are so friendly...ambiance is great...What more can I say???
Recommend by a friend and he was correct, you did not fall short of what he said we should expect. Our server Caterina was very efficient, knowledgeable of the menu very attentive but not over bearing. Your Bluebarry Mojito is a home run! We would return with no hesitation and will recommend to all our friends.
Ruth's Chris Steak House never disappoints. We have enjoyed special occasions there over the years and always have a good meal.
Great restaurant but didn’t get steaks cooked correctly. They were very accommodating & would definitely return!
Wonderful food. Our server was Todd, and I can’t praise him enough. Best of the best.
My husband, son and I came to celebrate my birthday and we were not disappointed. Francisco, our wonderful waiter, made us feel like we were the only diners except the restaurant was full. Wonderful restaurant, food and service. Excellent wine list too.
The overall experience was fantastic. I requested a booth and got one of the best spots in the restaurant. The service and food was perfection. Thank you Leo for making the night go so well. Would certainly come again!
Food was very good. Service was sketchy. Salads came promptly main course was slow and desert was very slow.
Disappointed that Ruth's Chris doesn't have a dress code. Too many young adults in baseball hats and gym shorts.
Food was not so good this time. Steak usually moist and on a hot plate of butter. This time, a little dry. Tried redeeming OpenTable $20 MasterCard e-reward but they refused to accept it. General manager took a hard stance on not allowing me to use the $20 on a $400 bill. Insane behavior if you ask me. Should have comped the $20 to keep customer happy. I didn't push the issue. Tipped the waiter generously them left. Won't be going back ever. Plenty of other good steak houses in the area. Go to Donovan's instead.
Beautiful back dining area. Picturesque scene of Camel Back mountain at sunset. Food was premier and served hot! Would go back again.
Sizzling steak ( that's why we come here, eh?) But the completely full room was almost too noisy to bare. Ask for a quiet table but a party of twenty was set up right next, compounding the problem. Steak great one side burnt. Maybe that is the fashion? However, iprefere my broccoli green! Still a gem in Paradise Valley.
From a state without a Ruth’s steakhouse. Look forward every year to coming back. Always excellent food and service. Will definitely be back. As good as it gets.
Have no idea where they are getting they filet, but it surely wasn't anything like it used to be. Chewy at best for $51. All three if us attending, surprisingly had the same comment to say to each other. There are so many good steak restaurants in Phoenix and the surrounding area probably won't make Ruth Chris our first choice.
Great meal as always!
Always a wonderful meal. Steak was done perfectly and the service is always top notch.
