Ruth's Chris Steak House - Scottsdale Ratings and Reviews
As usual, everything was AMAZING. Todd was GREAT! We have been many times, and the servers are always good, but Todd took the time to spend time with us and we loved him. We will be requesting him every time in the future. Thank you again! We have never had a bad experience and will continue to dine here FOREVER :)
Everything about our dining experience at Ruth Chris was fine -- good food, good staff. But the seating was terrible. The table was right across from the bar and the spot where the staff did the tabs. Clearly it was outside the main dining area and was likely added because they were crowded -- in fact, the lighting was so poor on the one side of the table, I had to move to a different side so I could read the menu. That suggested to me that this was overflow. As a result, the spot also was hit with alot of noise from the bar, which was just 10 feet away.
For lunch or drinks, it would have been fine. For spending $230 and being a birthday celebration, a table in a more intimate spot would have been a better choice. If none were available, we should have been told that up front when I made the reservation and we would have gladly picked the restaurant for another time.
We were seated very close to our reservation time. The service was outstanding . Our sever, Reagean was knowledgeable about the history of Ruth's Chris and very helpful with the menu. She is truly an asset to the restaurant. Food and service was outstanding. I will without hesitation recommend Ruth's Chris.
After spending many years in New Orleans and frequenting that location many many times, this was a complete and utter disappointment. As soon as we walked in the evening was off to a bad start. Neither hostess acknowledged us, when one of them finally looked up she just stared at us, didn’t say a word. We were seated in what seemed like the loudest room/spot possible despite requesting a quiet table. I couldn’t even hear my fiancé most of the time. While waiting for our food one of the servers spilled an entire tray of food on/next to my chair, scared me to death because my back was turned. Thankfully it only got food on my boots...that was in between the servers bumping into me constantly. This was amateur hour, we will never return.
Food was excellent.
Underwhelmed by the service. Ordered wine twice from our waitress and never got it. Finally, had to ask someone else to order a bottle. The second waitress was nice enough, but kept calling me by someone else’s name. (If you’re gonna impress the guests by using their names, make sure it’s there’s!) 😂
May sound picky, but at $100+ a head, the service should be top notch.
This establishment never disappoints. Excellent service, great food, and an overall great way to spend an anniversary dinner. The staff acknowledged our special occasion multiple times. The dining experience was well paced and the quality of food was excellent. It is not inexpensive, especially the drinks, but worth it for a special occasion.
Totally disappointed. This high end restaurant is located in the corner of a commercial plaza, on the second floor. Downstairs is vacant space. The elevator was old and dirty. Inside decoration was far from an elegant restaurant, more like a casual eating place. The food was about the same as its decoration, the portion is ok, but ribs were too salty, boiled vegetables were over cooked, not looking fresh. Food presentation was worst even seen. Not worth the money.
My steak was a disappointment, it had been cut in 2 places, I’m assuming to see if it was medium or not, it wasn’t it was well done. They comped my steak but my husbands steak was mediocre, also our friends steak had been cut in 2 places, not something I would have expected from this caliber of restaurant.
