Daughters birthday celebration with her grandfather.
Consistently very good. Service and food were excellent. Very enjoyable. We will return.
just like home was seated on patio as per my request we both had different types of steak both done exactly as ordered outside view was great
It’s always been excellent and the people there especially Sally are great and fun to be around
the wait staff(Katerina). Was fantastic. She offered several suggestions and was attentive and personable.
Hostesses were not welcoming. Had to wait 15 minutes after reservation to be seated (with the front of the house team busy chatting with one another while about 5 parties just stood waiting for tables). Service was slow all night. Loud and drunk tables. One bad cut of meat made it to the table.
Went for dinner with my wife. Had great steak and wine. Had the bone in Rib eye was cooked perfect. She had the crab cakes which were very tasty. My favorite steak place in AZ. Great service as well. Cheese cake was good as well
Our steaks were exceptional as always. Wine and cocktails were at a reasonable price point for this type of dining. Service was excellent.
Great food, great service.
Still one of the best steaks! And the shoestring potatoes - wonderful. Would highly recommend this!
ALWAYS OUTSTANDING. Only thing is need more signs for the elevator for our older
friends that cant do the stairs up to the restaurant. Food, service and location can not
A very good steak house and consistent in quality which ever location you choose to go to. It's time to update the decor, dark interiors and dim lighting are worn...let the light in so peoole can enjoy and see their food.
Had a great meal and a great time. Food was excellent, service top notch. Some people need to control their brats in public but that is not the restaurants problem.
It's showing its age. The restaurant could benefit from a massive overhaul, starting with the thread-bare carpeting. I ordered sea bass, which was beautiful and delicious. I guess many don't order fish at a steakhouse, but that resulted in a great piece of fish for me!
Food was ok - not great. Service was excellent. For the price there are better places to eat in Scottsdale.
My date and I had the best meal we have ever experienced at Ruth's and we have been there often. . Our waiter Todd was impeccable. The spicy shrimp appetizer is very unique. We had a French Bordeaux (2012 Chateau Dauzac Bastide) that was perfect with the food. The server paced our courses so we didn't feel hurried. The food always came out hot. The seafood my date ordered was cooked to perfect, with just the right texture and moisture. Our banana cheesecake was memorable. Very much first class all around.
Easter it was good
Service was very slow it took about 45 minutes from the time we ordered until the salad came.
Placed us at a table outside the kitchen door even though there some other tables open around us. Kitchen was noisy.
Steaks were excellent as unusual. Augratin potatoes were average
Server was great!
Service was extremely slow... they also charged almost $40 for a side of crab legs that really should have been disclosed.
Steaks are always great at Ruth’s. Service is also consistently good across the chain. A bit disappointed this time with the seating in a ‘back’ room.
Anniversary dinner. Francisco and Kyle were fabulous! We’ll be back!
Birthday celebration. Food and service was excellent.
Food was great and our server Shanasa was amazing!! Nice to get quality service!!
Last time we were here was 2015 and it was excellent, 2 yrs. makes a difference. We were a party of 3 for a Saturday 7:15 reservation. The service remained the same along with the atmosphere. The food preparation the same (love the hot sizzling butter on everything), but the quality of steak seemed of a lower standard and the clientele very varied. When I'm sitting inside a fine dining, dining room and the guy at the table next to us is wearing shorts and an old t-shirt and sneakers and and on the other side a crying baby that the parents are ignoring and I'm paying $52 for a steak and dropping well over $200 on the bill I find it inexcusable.
Our server Jesse was excellent. We ordered cocktails while deciding the menu. I had the Tomato Blue Crab Soup appetizer. Entrees ordered was 2 New York Strip Steaks, Blue Crab Cakes and an order of Shoe String Fries and for dessert a complementary Anniversary celebration Apple Cheese Cake. The soup was delicious, only comment is that an Ice COLD Spoon should not be given with hot soup. The Crab Cakes, Fries and Steaks all prepared perfectly and again the quality of steak seemed a bit dry, not thick and juicy as our previous visit.
Will we be back again? Probably, but I will request NOT being seated next to any babies.
Our server was awesome but the wait staff kept getting everything wrong. I felt bad for our server. One of the steaks had a lot of gristle in it.
Nice touch with bday confetti!
I have been to Ruth's Chris in five different locations, including 5 times at this Scottsdale location. Always excellent.
On this occasion it was off. I had a Wedge Salad with Thousand Island dressing, excellent.
Then a New York Strip, medium with a little char on the outside. Steak was delivered very hot, and as ordered. Unfortunately, the steak had a small line of gristle on the inside. Not so bad to send back, but disappointing. I also had a Baked Potato that was lukewarm with a small strip on the inside that was not done.
Desert was a White Chocolate Bread Pudding, with a Tia Maria sauce. The Pudding came with a sauce other than Tia Maria. The waitress was willing to substitute for the right sauce, but we accepted the delivered sauce. The dessert was excellent.
I mentioned the Potato to the waitress and said she would take it off the bill, but did not do so.
We will return to Ruth's Chris Steak House - Scottsdale, as this, I feel, was an anomaly based on my previous experience.
Excellent as always, attention to detail by chefs, servers, and bussing individuals--all friendly and accommodating, the price does add up so plan ahead.
Food and service is always great. We love experiencing special occasions here.
Ruth Chris missed the mark. Twice my filet came out well done when ordered medium. The meat quality was poor and way over cooked. The lobster tail ordered was small and had little taste. The service was good, the manager came by twice and apologized. She waived the cost of the steak and tried to recover. In our conversation I mentioned the great looking filet on their advertising and she commented” well that’s advertising and sometimes they do look like the ad” wow! I recall going to Ruth Chris a number of years ago and getting high quality food. It appears they have dialed back the quality and corporately made decision to buy lower quality meats and lobster. Disappointed
My waitress was excellent, I have been here many times and never disappointed! It’s one of my favorite Ruth Chris’s
Thank you for a wonderful dining experience for our 30th anniversary. The steak was delicious and your bread pudding dessert was the best I've ever had. Thanks again for a great time.
Great food, great service, wonderful food! Best waitress!
Steak wasn’t cooked to order & the Seafood Tower wasn’t as good as Capitol Grill’s. Crispy shoestring potatoes were soggy. Service was great as was ambiance.
Food excellent. Service started off great but after entrees served waiter and bus boy disappeared and we sat with dirty dishes and no service for over half an hour after we finished. We were all passing out and after we finally tackled the waiter we were too tired to have desert. Really don’t understand how waiter just ignores a table for nearly 40 minutes, not that busy at 930 but he just disappered
I ordered the Chilean sea bass and my husband ordered lamb chops. The sea bass tasted like it was not fresh and was over cooked/not flaky and the lamb chops were not cooked to order. Our waiter was very attentive to another table that was ordering a bit of alcohol and only quickly stopped by our table to say, 'is everything okay?" and then was gone. We were not impressed.
Had a great table in main room , booth, best spot in the dining room. Our waitress was wonderful and very thoughtful and always checking without being too obtrusive. Made for a very nice evening !
The ambience was very nice, as was the server. Our food however was not. I ordered a new York strip medium rare. It came out like gelatin. Very tough and chewy. Taste was ok, but I couldn't even finish it because of the rawness and toughness. I also ordered the lobster mac n cheese. There was way too many green chilies in it, making it almost inedible. My wife ordered the salmon. It was very over cooked. Very rubbery. Maybe we just didn't show up on a good night. It was my wife's birthday and we had heard good things about this place. Very disappointed in the food this evening. Not sure if we would go back. Spent A LOT of money, and left wondering why. The wine was very good.
Service was good, not excellent, which is what it usually is. Waitress did not mention specials "classics" which is such a good deal.
