    This place is so dated. Desperately needs a facelift. Bizarre service and even more bizarre clientele. It has fallen impossibly behind the other high end steakhouses which provide such a more special experience for essentially the same money. They should just close if they aren’t going to upgrade.

    When you go to a steakhouse, you expect a great steak. For the first time in my life I sent our steak back because it was so tough we were having a hard time cutting it. They failed on the most basic of standards.

    Food & service was great; however, we ordered a $68 bottle of wine & were served a bottle priced at $133! Server told us the manager was gone (at 7pm) and we were offered no discount on the wine.

    Ruth’s Chris isn’t what it used to be! The food was not prepared to our requests. The server never came back to see how we liked it. The martini was also not prepared the way I ordered it. We have been loyal customers for many years both here in Arizona and in San Diego, California. I have eaten my last meal at Ruth’s Chris.

    Server Chris was phenomenal, great personality, very knowledgeable. Steaks were very over cooked ordered medium rare plus and were medium well to well. Sides were excellent had the creamed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes. Our daughter’s steak was cooked perfectly.

    Overall, mediocre. Not much value for the money. They can cook a steak, the lobster bisque was fine, but the salad, side dishes and desserts were a disappointment. Wine list was average. Overpriced and will not return.

    Best meal I've had out and about in years. Worth every dollar, and then some. Definitely not a place I'd frequent every week (due to how much we indulge!) - but my better half and I are plotting out reservations there every few months, to make sure we are treating ourselves right. The steaks are the best form of self-care you can imagine! M The young lady who directed our meal for the evening, Janey, couldn't have been nicer. We wanted for nothing. The evening ended with a shared crème brûlée that was amazing!!!! Treat yourself to the best food you'll eat while visiting our great state. And if you're local - plan regular visits to some of the best steaks and other items you can imagine! Again, worth the investment in self-care!!

    Let me just start with, the overall experience was very nice for the first hour. Our server was extremely nice and attentive. Understandably, as the place got busier, not so much. My wife and I both ordered the bone in filet. Mine at Medium Rare and hers at Medium Well. Since we rarely get out to eat, its likely that she may have ordered it slightly over cooked for her taste. None the less, mine was very good. Hers was so dry that she had trouble eating it. Enough time had passed already and we are not the type of people to send our food back, so she literally suffered through her dinner. Which brings me to the second issue we had that evening. We had a 4pm reservation for which we were on time. We were back in our car at 5:50. There was quite the time lag from dinner to exit. I can take a portion of the responsibility for that as we were celebrating my birthday and they provided me with a special treat. But, it took a long while to receive it and longer to get the check paid so we could depart. As I stated at the beginning, the first hour of our visit was everything we had thought it would be. However the condition of my wife's $77 steak and the amount of time that we spent there detracted from the overall experience to the point where we feel doubtful that we will return.

    Thanksgiving. Ruth’s Chris is my favorite restaurant in the country, and I have been to several. On Thanksgiving, it wasn’t too much of a surprise, but it was extremely crowded. As opposed to the front room, we were seated way in back with zero ambiance. Our server was excellent, but obviously busy. My husband’s lobster was of very poor quality. And to my total surprise, my favorite (always), a rib eye was not edible. It was a very poor cut and full of mostly fat. Aside from the fat, the quality of what was that was way below par for Ruth’s Chris. My husband thought that the kitchen decided to give me a bad cut because I like it well done. But, I have never experienced Ruth’s Chris doing that to me. Additionally, the shrimp had apparently just been boiled as they ran out. I couldn’t eat it because it was still warm and it felt undercooked and “mushy.” I won’t go back to the Phoenix Ruth’s Chris as a result. We’re eating at the Albuquerque Ruth’s Chris at Christmas, and it’s always exceptional like the ones in San Diego and Denver. I’m not sure about Phoenix. The crowd was perhaps too much. My husband was also charged for dessert though he had ordered off of the Prix Fixe menu. He didn’t want to do anything about it at that point due to the crowdedness. Again, the server was very good and experienced.

    Not sure what happened but this Thanksgiving meal was a total miss. It took a very long time to get our food and it was cold. The Turkey was bland, had to ask for more cranberry relish as the amount on the plate was barely visible. The manager offered to replace the meal with an appetizer. We tried the stuffed mushrooms with crab. It was absolutely gross. The crab wasn’t cooked and very fishy, the mushrooms weren’t cooked enough either. The tiny pumpkin cheesecake was not good either. I noticed many plates around the room had the dessert on the plate uneaten. Will not return again.

    Ate there with my family for Thanksgiving dinner, ordered from the special menu. Servings of cranberry sauce and stuffing were almost nonexistent and the flavor of the turkey dinner was good. The temperature of the food was very good and the presentation and staff attentiveness were excellent. The restaurant was clean, noise level was good and all staff were excellent. Over all, the experience was very good.

    Ruth’s Chris Scottsdale continues to set the standard when wanting to treat special people in your life. Yes, a little spendy…but the value is there. Food is wonderful with a fun ambiance. Like most things, the people make the difference. People like Marissa and Fernando go above and beyond to make the experience extra special. Thanks to all for a fantastic evening!

    Ruth’s has outstanding food. Expensive but worth it for a Nice occasional evening out for dinner. Ambiance is nice, quiet with bustling servers. Food came out quickly, Lots of servers to tend to all the tables. Very attentive servers. Manager makes rounds checking on tables.

    It was a nice evening with very good service. However, the value just isn't there. My steak was nothing better than what I could cook up for myself at home using the supermarket's USDA Select cuts.

    Our steaks were requested to be medium. The steak overall was near well done. The shrimp was very over cooked. Nice place but the $300 tab was that of a $40 dinner.

    Soup wasn’t great, lobster was overcooked, steak had to be sent for a re-fire - after that it was solid, mashed potatoes were under seasoned, even the cheesecake was mediocre. I’ve been going to Ruth’s Chris for many years, mostly in Indiana and I have always been blown away. But unfortunately every aspect of my meal was a letdown. And at a ticket of $300 for 2, that shouldn’t be the case. Everything was acceptable at best which for a steakhouse with the pedigree of RC is unacceptable.

    A booth for three people would’ve been preferable to a table between two family groups with young children was informed needed to be on a booth reservation list at the time of booking, which was not explained when I made the reservation booths were empty during our entire time in the restaurant.

    Almost everything about the experience was excellent. We were celebrating our friend’s recent wedding. And the staff went above and beyond with customizing the menus to congratulate them and with hearts/champagne glass decor on the table. They also gave us free desserts. Our waiter was Rob and he was an expert on the menu and answered all of our questions with patience and outstanding service. The only down fall for myself was they’re policy on hats in the restaurant. I had to remove my hat once we sat down. Otherwise everything was top tier. 10 of out 10 would recommend.

    Very first time at Ruth's from Canada. The best steak I've ever had. Waiter Scott was great explained hoe the menu works. Great place definitely would recommend this place to everyone.

    Food is very fresh and tasty. Chill vibe with friends or a romantic feel with your partner. Clean and orderly. This restaurant is worth every penny especially for their portion size. My suggestion from their menu is the Tomahawk steak, lobster Mac and cheese, garlic mash potatoes all sharable
