We had a great experience. The service was good and the meal was outstanding.

Ruth's is often on our list for special occasions, and this time, it was good, but not great. The service was outstanding like usual, and I love their Ruth's Classics menu (makes it easy). The filet was pretty flat and misshapen, and the flavor just wasn't what it usually is. It just seemed like they are cutting corners on the meat, but maybe it was just an odd couple of steaks we had. The bread was better than it's been in the past, and the sides were really tasty, like usual. She let us upgrade to the white chocolate bread pudding since it was our anniversary, and while a very nice gesture, the dessert was not good at all. If you're a lover of bread pudding, give this one a miss. They could really use some improvements in their dessert menu. It started in New Orleans, so how about a bourbon pecan pie?

Omg! Steaks were delicious! We thought we were going to have leftovers for lunch tomorrow but nope we each finished our steaks. Cooked perfectly, I wish I could cook steaks like this. Potato au gratin were cold but the steaks were sizzling hot. Can’t wait to go back!
so happy you have a dress code now! Last year I was in there and was so surprised to see people dressed way to casually. Thank you for keeping it a SF respectful restaurant again!
This is one of my all-time favorite restaurants. The food is always wonderful and the service is always impeccable. This is my go-to place for special occasions and a treat that I always enjoy.

It was our first time eating at Ruth Chris. We were coming from the Theater. The hostess welcomed us when th a warm greeting and we were sat right away. Jack the waiter was warm and happy to show us the ins and outs of the menu. The food was amazing. We were left to enjoy and there was no feeling of being rushed.. My tip is do the special (best value)
