The food was good and came out really quick. We both got ribeye, mines 12oz and medium rare, his 16oz and rare. No sides because we specifically just wanted meat. The waiter kind of gave us a smug look when he found out we didn't want anything more. They warn you that the plates are really hot, and they're not kidding. It comes out so hot that if your meat was too raw, you could place it in the plate and it'll cook it up a little more for ya. Both the meats came out about the same. I don't like my meat too raw and it was super hot on the outside but still very cold on the inside (luckily i was able to cook it a slightly more on the hot plate!). I didn't mind it too much though, everything was still good and we finished majority of our food. They also gave a complimentary birthday dessert after our meal, which was nice. Service was good as well. We probably would come back.

Ruth's Chris was excellent in all ways. Great corner booth! Nice comfy atmosphere.
Excellent service (thank you!) Fantastic food-every bite was great.
Skipped dessert this time as we were too full.
Valet parking is available. We have used it before and it's very convenient. We were able to find parking on the street nearby, so we paid the meter a few dollars (parking fees end at 6 p.m.) for the 5-6 pm period. After that free! A short drive to Palace of Fine Arts for concert afterwards.
Worth the drive from anywhere in Bay Area. Enjoy!

The food was outstanding as always. Our server on the other hand was not! I wasn't able to catch his name, but he was an Asian man in his late 40's . He was very unpleasant from the moment we sat in his section. He was either having a bad night, was in a bad mood, or really hates to serve. Anyway to sum up this horrible night this man was super Arrogant , he forgot to bring my second cocktail and lastly we ended up also having to tip the busboy whom we received better service from.
We never really go to the city because we live about 30 minutes out. This man kinda ruined our night because even tho we loved the food, we ended up discussing how bad the service really was. I guess it's quantity over quantity now a days.

Reservations to celebrate for an Anniversary dinner with Friends. Great options from the menu and the food was great! Meat was cooked perfectly based on each individual's preferences. Service was excellent!

The coconut ginger lemon drop is amazing! My BF loved the duck horn wine too. I loved the petite filet. The only thing is that my BF wanted to try the filet as well, but the waiter brought him a rib-eye instead. It was still good so we didn’t say anything, but I know he was looking forward to trying the filet. Other than that, everything was great.

Had an amazing meal, steaks were cooked perfectly and the service was excellent, this was our first time here and we will definitely be back! I also appreciate that they have a dress code, I hate paying a lot of money for a nice meal and to be sitting next to a guy in shorts and a baseball hat. It’s nice to dress up every once in a while and not feel out of place.

We made reservations for my Nieces birthday. The customer service was the highlight of our night. The food wasn’t as great as I remember, but the portions were good for the price. I will definitely be back. Our waiter Juan and his crew were great!

I had a reservation and was a little late, but let them know before had. Once we got there we still had to wait 25 minutes. When we got seated no one took our drink or appetizer order u til 20 minutes later. The appetizer came quickly but the drinks took forever. Our waiter finally came back and took our food order. We didn’t wait too long for it, and all the food was superb. Nothing to complain about there. However, I’ve had an experience like this before at a different Ruth Chris location. The food was amazing, but service did not match it. Very disappointing considering the cost. You pay for the ambience, good and timely service plus the food. I only really got 1/3 of those things.

I have been at Ruth’s Chris quite a few times and have always had a great experience. Except this last time. Food was excellent but service was not that great. Waiter did a very poor job to the level that is what we remembered most about this visit. In a rush to take the order and run. Very impatient ever visit to the table. Not very knowledgeable as well, We asked about a dessert which he said they did not have but we found out later that did because the table next to us ordered and received just fine. Hopefully management will think twice about hiring this level of staff if they are hoping for return customers. Probably going to try other steak houses after this last experience here.

Some context- A few of our friends have been shying away from RC Steakhouse because the "sides" had gone down. We did not have that experience. Good food and excellent service.

We had 730pm reservations- arrived 15 minutes early but did not get seated until 750pm. The waiting room was crowded and we were told someone else "took" our reservations when my name was called @ 730pm (we never heard my name and we were sitting on the bench next to the front desk). We were led to our giant U shaped booth in the dining room behind the bar- which was relaxed and mellow- the transitions from the front room to the dining room had us both looking at each other going, Wow! You noticed the change of rooms too!

We had Thomas as our server. He was very good at giving us just the right amount of time and space yet still being very attentive. He provided some excellent recommendations (including a red wine that slips my mind- but it was excellent pairing with the steak).

We started with some cocktails and shared a crab cakes appetizer- excellent. We both has rib eyes (16oz/22oz). I ordered the blue cheese "topping" on my cowboy rib eye- however it was left off. Thomas was quick to make the fix- however I think the kitchen put the steak under the roaster/oven to melt the blue cheese topping and it moved the steak temp from med-rare to a medium. Both steaks were moist and tender. We shared some sides- brussel sprouts/potato au-gratin. Both very good and seasoned just right. Also shared the Gi-Normous Cheese Cake dessert- (the cheese cake is big portion- easily shared by 2 people). Dessert was good- It's Cheese Cake- end of story. No perception of being rushed despite being busy- we were able to take our time.

We valet parked out front and the car was there when we were ready to leave. No waiting.
In the end we were both very happy with our RC Steakhouse experience. We have been to the WC/SF locations and have had excellent service and food at both.

Restaurant only moderately busy but they offered us a table in a large EMPTY room! When I said we would prefer to be seated in a more central spot they actually tried to talk me down! We were walked back to the front desk before being seated at a table in the main dining room - were there were several tables available. Not a good start to our evening and difficult to adjust the mood.

As usual, my wife and I had a wonderful meal at Ruth's Chris. It really couldn't have been any better. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. Don't know how they do it but our steaks were exactly the way we like them inside. But, I burrs did the price they better be. lol Our waiter was fantastic. In fact he suggested a dish that was not on the menu as an appetizer. It was hash browns with caramelized onions on top... very delicious. We'll probably order it again the next time! It was a great night out!
