The food was spectacular and the service was wonderful. We had a table for two. Unfortunately, it was too close to the table next to us. I could reach my arm out to the side and touch the shoulder of the person sitting next to us. The couple at that table was speaking in moderate tones but, unfortunately, we could still hear every word of their conversation. The seating at our table was awkward also. One person sat in a chair and the person opposite sat on a padded bench. The dining area we were seated in was open and had a long padded bench with six or seven tables pushed up to it and people seated similar to us. Our table and the next one were so close together that the servers had to turn sideways and scoot between the tables to pour water and serve the food. Considering that we paid over $200 for the excellent meal we were disappointed that the tables were so close together. We expected a more refined, private dining experience.

A great evening. Food was delicious. Service was OUTSTANDING. Everyone got exactly what the ordered, and cooked exactly as ordered. I've got it on the calendar to schedule our next visit. Made a extraordinary effort to honor the birthday person. I believe everyone of the wait staff made a point of wishing her a happy birthday---and they all sounded very sincere.

I ordered the 11oz filet, medium rare. The steak was cooked a little under and wasn’t seasoned enough. My husband ordered the 11oz filet and lobster tail, served Oscar style. He had bits of lobster shell left in the dish. The waiter didn’t come back over to check on us until after we had eaten all of our food. He asked “how was dinner?” I expected at least one check in to see if we were happy with the cook on our steaks, which I was not. We didn’t get a single refill on our drinks until after all our food was gone. The food and experience didn’t meet expectations for a $250 meal.

Always like coming to Ruth chris, especially this location, however the preparation of the steak this time was not great. Service was great and our server was excellent. Steak for the first time at this location was over cooked. Thought about sending it back but they were very busy and and didn’t feel like waiting. Overall it was a good experience but not the best! Maybe next time

This was my first experience eating here. Our waiter was fantastic. He explained the menu very well and how the steaks were cooked. The food was terrific. Great flavor and cooked to my perfection. I would highly recommend dinning here.

Fantastic service! Helpful staff. A sweet gal named Genesys kept our water filled at all times. Ambra gave us helpful advice. David, the manager, seemed extremely efficient, keeping the place running like a well oiled machine. Absolutely delicious meal. The cowboy ribeye was melt-in-your-mouth-delicious. The apple dessert was spectacular- so full of great old-fashioned flavor. A memorable anniversary date night.

Ruth’s Chris is one of our favorite places to eat. My husband always gets the ribeye steak and sometimes it’s a hit and miss. Sometimes the steaks are excellent and sometimes they are just OK. For the price you pay you would hope that they would be excellent every time the French onion soup is to die for and so is the shrimp cocktail.

I always choose Ruth’s Chris for special occasions and clients gifts. This night was my wedding anniversary. The staff are incredible! Our table was ready when we arrived. It was decorated with a Happy Anniversary card and rose petals. But the star of the show is always the steaks! They come out perfectly cooked on a hot plate which keeps them hot for the entire meal. My wife said she loves it when you don’t have to season your steak and she right. They are delicious! Highly recommend Ruth’s Chris in Salt Lake.

Ruth’s Chris was an excellent choice in restaurant. The servers were very professional and quick. We were seated moments after we checked in for our reservation. Our main server gave us suggestions from the menu that turned out to be great! The food was also very good. I’ve never ate a steak this good. The sides were wonderful as well. We will be going back!

Another great steak with lobster special and scallop dinners. Great starters with spicy lobster and a chopped salad. Crème brûlée was awesome! John was a very good waiter with his crew mates!! Cocktails were very well made, the food and cocktails were so much more than experienced any where in SLC We’ll be back many times in next two years of current temporary assignment.
