Most everything was good, however the mashed potatoes had too much butter. I was very disappointed with the petite filet. It was cooked as requested but was hard to cut and had too much gristle and hard to chew. Very dissatisfied with the steak.
Always a treat to dine here. The staff is amazing and the food is really the best.
Gotta try the spicy shrimp, it’s fantastic.

You can always count on a great steak that comes hot & stays hot, seasoned well, & cooked perfectly. The service was awesome. Alexander & David were awesome. They put birthday confetti on the table & gave my hubby a great bday dessert.

My little family had a great experience. My husband and I brought our 7 month old baby and they were very accommodating with her stroller. The restaurant already had the high chair at the table for our baby and some confetti for my birthday. Food tasted better than Morton’s (in terms of ribeye). My only reason for not giving a full five stars is that the restaurant ran out of fire-roasted corn and it was only about 7:00 pm. This was after finding out that corn with edamame was seasonal and was no longer available. We already ordered the au gratin as one of our sides. No other side seemed appealing, so I felt like I had to settle for something I don’t really care for. On a good note, food came out shortly after we ordered. Our service, by Tonielle (*spelling?), was phenomenal!
Excellent salad, steaks and dessert. The creams spinach was not tour liking....no one really ate it. It was gooey and seemed old. Superb level of service. My grandsons were thrilled to be there. We would go back again! Very pricy....sadly.
RC is always good but the noise level makes conversation sometimes problematic. We had a round table for five and I couldn't hear the two people opposite and had to ask the people to either side to repeat several times. The food is excellent but this expensive. We had three bottles of decent wine, two appetizers for the table, five veg or other dishes to share, each person chose their steak, and three desserts to share. With a reasonable tip the tab was over $850. Not on an expense account so you have to decide what's worth it to you.
Steak was good but was not cooked properly. I asked for medium well, half was medium rare and the other half was burnt. Other than that everything was great.

Being a regular of Ruth's Chris in Orange County (Irvine--our local favorite) as well as others such as LA, San Diego Harrah's Las Vegas and others I was extremely disappointed in the food and service. I made the reservation same day on 'Open Table' for 7:30 PM and when I arrived the restaurant was about 1/3rd full and waited almost 20 plus minutes to be seated. I had to remind the hostess when another person came in with no reservation that was about to be seated that we had a 7:30 PM reservation of which she then said oh--okay--mind you I had checked in with the hostess when we arrived. Once seated, it took quite a while--about 15-plus minutes to be greeted by our waiter. And when he did come over to acknowledge us we knew what we wanted to order and asked for it to be taken so that there was no additional wait on service. Once our order was taken it took about another 10 minutes to get our beverages. Once the order arrived the filet was not how I ordered it (well done) and had to be returned as it was medium. The baked potato ordered was also cold and had to go back as the plate it was served on was an ice cold plate and the potato was not even warm. When the filet finally made its way back to our table it was charred beyond belief of which I was already fed up and said just forget it. As you can see, I go at least twice a month to Ruth's Chris as this is one of my wife and sons favorite in Irvine. Its unfortunate that all Ruth's Chris doesn't have the same standard but rest-assured I wont be back to the Sacramento location.

Excellent food! Awesome ribeye! Delicious tomato/mozzarella/basil/balsamic salad! The mushrooms were delicious! Attentive staff!
Had a little confusion with getting our table ready on time but we're apologetic and reasonable about it.
We have been to many Ruth’s Chris locations and keep coming back to this one. Food is always fabulous, service exemplary and we’ve never had a less than awesome experience.

The food is incredible. Our waiter should teach Waiter's School.... he was so nice, polite....everything a great waiter should be.

The steak is the best and we enjoy not being rushed through our meal.
